Madonion PCMark2002

Der PCMark 2002 ist ein vergleichsweise neuer Benchmark, der, wie der Name schon sagt, zur Messung der gesamten Systemleistung entwickelt wurde. Hierfür führt er eine Reihe von Tests durch, die primär den Prozessor und den Arbeitsspeicher fordern. Auch die Festplatte wird auf ihre Leistungsfähigkeit hin überprüft. Auf die Veröffentlichung des Teilergebnisses haben wir jedoch verzichtet. Somit liefert uns der PCMark 2002 lediglich eine Punktzahl für die Prozessorleistung und den Arbeitspeicher.

Einheit: Punkte

Beim PCMark ergeben sich durch die 1,5 Prozent mehr Takt des XP 2700+ im Vergleich zum XP2600+ 3,3 Prozent mehr Leistung (im CPU Result). Der erhöhte Frontside-Bus zeigt hier erstmals seine Wirkung. Auf beiden Plattformen wird der Athlon XP 2700+ vor dem 2,53 GHz Pentium 4 mit RIMM4200 gesehen. Der XP2800+ erreicht nochmals 4,2 Prozent höhere Werte und findet sich hinter dem 2,8GHz Pentium4 wieder. Das Mainboard von EPoX erweist sich hier abermals als schneller. Besonders im RAM Result wird deutlich, wo die Probleme des XP2700+ mit dem A7V333 liegen. Mehr als 300 Punkte Unterschied ergeben sich hier. Im Vergleich zum XP2600+/FSB133 wird mit dem 8K3A+ eine 13 Prozent höhere Wertung (RAM Result) erreicht.
