Unreal Tournament

Wie Quake3Arena oder der 3DMark 2000 gehört auch Unreal Tournament sicherlich nicht mehr zu den taufrischen Programmen. Da es uns hier jedoch nicht um die Bewertung einer aktuellen Grafikkarte geht, können wir von diesem Umstand nur profitieren, denn CPU und Speicherauslastung sind auch bei UT nicht zu verachten. Der sogenannte UTBench setzt hier noch einen drauf. Die Demo, die international als Grundlage für Benchmarks genutzt wird, simuliert ein Deathmatch gegen 16 Bots und ist enorm prozessorlimitiert. Das heisst, die Grafikkarte spielt (fast) keine Rolle.

Auch Unreal Tournament liefert keine neuen Erkenntnisse. Die Leistung des P4PB400-FL liegt wie schon so oft hinter dem P4PE mit i845PE aber vor dem P4S8X mit SiS648. Die Performance des P4PB400-FL ist sicher auch in diesem Test nicht schlecht, aber eben nicht absolute Spitzenklasse. Sie liegt wieder einmal im Mittelfeld aller bisher getesteten Mainboards.
