Viele neue Treiber für Audigy 2 ZS

Creative hat einen ganzen Packen neuer Treiber und Software für die Audigy 2 ZS veröffentlicht. Dabei geht es in erster Linie um kleine Updates der bestehenden Software, vereinzelt wurden aber auch Erweiterungen beziehungsweise neue Funktionen hinzugefügt.

Alle angesprochenen vier Pakete gibt es bereits seit dem 16. Januar zum Download. Im Einzelnen umfasst die Liste der Software mit ihren Änderungen die folgenden:

• DTS Neo:6 Settings Version 1.00.06
  • New Features or Enhancements:
    • Enables users with 5.1 or 6.1 speaker systems to derive five or six full-band channels of audio from two-channel matrix-encoded sources. The result is a richer and more natural aural experience, a luxury that owners of discrete multi-channel systems have increasingly come to expect.
  
  
• Creative EAX Console Update Version 2.02.05
  • Fixes:
    • Shortens the loading time of Creative EAX Console.
    • Resolves the issue where the EAX button fails to represent the EAX status correctly.
  
  
• Creative MediaSource 2 Update Version 2.02.06
  • New Features or Enhancements:
    • Upmixes stereo audio tracks to six channels when DTS Neo:6 is enabled
    • Supports more CD-R drives for MP3 and audio CD creation
  • Fixes:
    • Allows users of double-byte character sets (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese) to successfully edit track information such as Genre, Artist and Album in Creative MediaSource Organizer.
    • Refreshes the content of an audio CD when the F5 key is pressed or when the Refresh option from the right-click shortcut menu is selected.
    • Correctly imports external playlists in some localized packages.
  
  
• Creative THX Setup Console Update Version 1.00.16
  • Fixes:
    • Calibrated settings can now be saved when changing speaker modes.
