AMD hat zum Start der neuen Navi-Grafikkarten auch die Treibersuite Adrenalin aktualisiert. Diese wird fortan neben dem Support für die AMD Radeon RX 5700 und RX 5700 XT (Test) auch viele neue Features bieten, die mit dem Generationswechsel vorgestellt wurden.
Das Changelog ist deshalb bereits im Punkte der neu im Paket integrierten Möglichkeiten deutlich umfangreicher als in den letzten Monaten:

Now supports auto-discovery mode and one-tap connection, allowing you to easily connect your Radeon PC and AMD Link App.

AMD Radeon Chill
Now supports display-aware tuning which sets frame-rate caps to match your monitors refresh rate providing up to 2.5x more power savings than before.RS-294 Display-aware tuning works with fixed-refresh monitors or with variable-refresh Radeon FreeSync™-capable displays.

Eine Fehlerfreiheit kann schon allein beim Blick auf die vielen AMD bekannten Probleme auch mit dem neuen Treiber nicht garantiert werden. Die ComputerBase-Redaktion ist beim Test der neuen Karten über einige gestolpert, erst in der Nacht zum Samstag und damit sprichwörtlich fünf Minuten vor dem Start wurde noch einmal ein Update nachgeschoben.
Mit einer größeren Verbreitung der neuen Karten sowie der Treiber werden vermutlich weitere kleine Probleme zutage treten, die AMD dann schnell adressieren dürfte, sodass weitere Updates bereits in Kürze zu erwarten sind. Einige der neuen Features wird sich die Redaktion in naher Zukunft noch genauer ansehen.
