OnePlus hat damit begonnen, OxygenOS 12 auf Basis von ColorOS und Android 12 an Nutzer der Smartphones OnePlus 9 und OnePlus 9 Pro (Test) auszurollen. Damit einher gehen unter anderem auch ein verbesserter dunkler Modus sowie eine überarbeitete Benutzeroberfläche mit neuen Hintergründen und Icons.
OxygenOS 12 erstmals auf Oppo-Codebasis
Wie OnePlus vor wenigen Stunden über das offizielle Support-Forum bekanntgegeben hat, hat der Hersteller bereits mit dem Rollout seines mobilen Betriebssystems OxygenOS 12 auf Oppo-Codebasis für das OnePlus 9 (Pro) begonnen.
Nach der Integration von OnePlus in das Unternehmen Oppo im Juni dieses Jahres als Bestandteil von BBK Electronics setzen zukünftige Versionen von OxygenOS auf dem hauseigenen ColorOS auf, das in der neuesten Version wiederum auf Android 12 basiert und die folgenden Neuerungen bieten soll:

Dark mode now supports three adjustable levels, bringing a more personalized and comfortable user experience

Work-Life Balance feature is now available to all users, allowing you to effortlessly switch between Work and Life mode via quick settings
WLB 2.0 now supports automatic Work/Life mode switching, based on specific locations, Wi-Fi network, and time, also bringing customized App notification profiles according to the personalization
Gallery
Gallery now allows you to switch between different layouts with a two-finger pinch gesture, intelligently recognizing the best-quality pictures, and cropping the thumbnail based on the content, making the gallery layout more pleasing
Canvas AOD
Canvas AOD brings you new diverse styles of lines and colors, for a more personalized lock screen experience with inspiring visuals
Newly added multiple brushes and strokes and support for color adjustment
Optimized software algorithm and improved face recognition to better identify the features and skin color of different figures
UI und Shelf werden überarbeitet
Bereits zum Start der Beta von OxygenOS 12 hatte der Hersteller angekündigt, dass durch den Einsatz von Licht und Schattenwurf innerhalb der Benutzeroberfläche die Hierarchien in von Menüs und Anwendungen verdeutlicht und die allgemeine Lesbarkeit sowie Nutzerfreundlichkeit verbessert werden soll. Die wichtigsten an den Nutzer gerichteten Botschaften sollen durch den Einsatz von vereinfachten Typografien besser zur Geltung kommen.
Der OnePlus Shelf, der wahlweise auch deaktiviert oder durch den Startbildschirm von Google ersetzt werden kann, bietet mit neuen Hintergründen und verschieden großen Feature-Karten jetzt eine nochmals größere Auswahl an Anpassungsmöglichkeiten.
