Dr. Marc Liu: TSMCs Chairman tritt 2024 den Ruhestand an

Dr. Mark Liu trat 2018 die Nachfolge von TSMC-Gründer Dr. Morris Chang an, nun wird auch er in den Ruhestand gehen, nachdem er über 30 Jahre lang für das Unternehmen gearbeitet hat. Dr. C.C. Wei, aktuell CEO von TSMC, soll der Nachfolger in dieser Position werden.

Gänzlich von TSMC verabschieden wird sich Liu aber nicht, wie er selbst erklärte.

I now would like to give my decades of semiconductor experience to other use, spend more time with my family, and start the next chapter of my life. I will continue to oversee the corporate governance with the Board diligently until the last day of this term. I am confident that TSMC will continue to perform outstandingly in the years to come.”
