Can somebody explain what adfly is?

Does this mean I'm going to be randomly redirected to ad sites now?

Personally, I'd like to know how it got there in the first place. Was a Valve employee just experimenting? Was it hacked into the forums somehow? What?

I saw it too. It was quite suspicious but I had NoScript + AdBlockPlus on so I shouldn't be able to get malware easily.

Please view the source(view->source or something like that) of the page on which you've experienced the redirect and send me a PM with the html code, I'll look into it and see what I can find(I've not experienced any redirects today).

I had the same issue with the store itself at 18:12 GMT+1 when it tried to redirect me to that aforementioned 2mCnM link. I had steampowered.com whitelisted in NoScript, so I hope nothing nasty happened.

The "bug" is gone now, they found it quite fast. Could be a vBulletin breach someone found?

I didn't get the "view source" on time, and it wasn't javascript because I turned it off and it was still redirecting. Some http refresh probably?

Could have been a META refresh tag or an iframe with a redirect page.

For around 5 minutes, just a bit before this thread was made.
