ABIT's CPU Accelerator How-To Guide
Get 33% faster performance in four easy steps
November 12, 2004 – Released earlier this week, ABIT's CPU Accelerator technology allows the user to adjust the multiplier of Intel Pentium 4 CPUs, and boost the overall performance of their PC. The following guide takes you through step-by-step on how to boost your front side bus (FSB) speed from 800MHz to 1066MHz. CPU Accelerator is a quick and easy way to get free performance from your system. In-house testing has shown gains of 33% or higher in four easy steps!
A word of caution:
As with all overclocking, ABIT can neither guarantee results, nor be responsible for damage that may be caused to your system by running it beyond normal specifications. Do the following at your own risk.Step 1: Know your system configuration.
It's important to know what kind of CPU and FSB you are running. For this demonstration, we are using a 3.6GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor, and running an FSB speed of 204Mhz. You can see that the CPU multiplier is currently 18. ....
November 09,2004 ABIT Introduces CPU Accelerator Technology on AA8-DuraMAX and AG8 Motherboards 33% faster than other Intel Motherboards
As the pioneer of overclocking, ABIT has introduced countless features that allow users to get the most out of their systems. From SoftMenu™, the world's first jumperless BIOS, to OTES™ cooling and OC strips, ABIT hardware is engineered for utmost performance and rock-solid stability.
