Acronis Image als virtuelle Maschine installieren?

Hallo,
gibt es eine Möglichkeit ein Acronis Image (Win7) als virtuelle Maschine (virtualbox oder vm-ware) zu installieren?

Virtualbox auf dem Host installieren.
Als Guest Win7 installieren und dann wird Acronis Image istalliert.

oder einfach mit einem Acronis boot medium eingebunden die VM starten und das image einspielen.
Warum sollte man erst w7 installieren?

Weil er danach gefragt hatte.

Acronis True Image habe ich vor Jahren ausrangiert. Zum kompliziert und langfristig zu teuer. Jede Version bringt neue Featuers, die ich nicht brauche. Jetzt mache ich alles mit Timeshift und UrBackup.

Hat er nicht. Die Lösung ist einfach nur unnötig kompliziert IMHO

Du kannst die Acronis Sicherung auch in eine VM umwandeln.

z.B.:

Ich nutze Acrons seit über 15 Jahren weil ich einfach zufrieden damit bin.

funktioniert aber nur mit der endeung .tib.
nicht mit .tibx.

Warum sollte man erst w7 installieren?

Tja das ist die Frage: hier die Lösung: es geht mir gar nicht so sehr um W7 sondern um ein auf dem W7 installiertes Programm, welches zum Benutzen einen Freischaltcode des Herstellers benötigt. Und diesen Hersteller oder einen Nachfolger gibt es nicht mehr. Also kann ich es nicht mehr neu installieren, würde es aber gerne weiter nutzen.
Das W7 interessiert mich nur als Mittel zum Zweck.

wenn du ein acronis image hast ist das doch einfach.
wie schon @rg88 schrieb .
Einfach vmware etc. installieren.
dann virtuelle maschine erstellen.
evtl. genau so gross wie das virtuelle acronis image bzw.die partition von win7.
dann mit einer bootcd in die vmware etc. booten und das image zurückspielen.
und dann testen ob es geht.
problem dabei ist warscheinlich das du mit legalen mitteln nur ein win7 hast das du evt.nicht aktiviert bekommst.
