Hi Computerbase!

I am planning to upgrade my PC for the first time in 6.5 years and really need your help since I am not that familiar with the whole PC component scene as I was some years ago.
A gaming buddy of me recommends the following system, which is posted in a pcpartpicker markup below.
I have to mention that I intend to keep using some of my parts that are currently in use, as are the following: SSD, Case, DVD-Drive, Keyboard, Mouse.

I am a heavy CS:GO player and also really really really looking forward to play GTA5 next year :)

1. I do not plan to overclock the new system, therefore I think that this version of the CPU, which is NOT the one with the added "K" at the end of the product name, should be the one that fits me best.

2. What are your thoughts on the Mainboard? I am kind of distrustful of the name tag that includes "Gaming". Is this just some sort of marketing scheme or are we really looking at a Mainboard that provides any sort of benefits for gamers in comparison to "non-gaming" mainboards? I also have to mention that I need a Mainboard with a S/PDIF Cinch outlet in order to connect to my sound system.

3. Is the price tag of the RAM and the RAM itself ok? (I can buy it for €65).

4. What do you think about the monitor? Is the price-performance ratio good enough to buy it (€250)? I really need the 144hz!

If you feel like there is still room for improvement, please let me know!

PS: The budget including the monitor should not exceed the €1000 mark by far.

The MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card is a good pick among the 970 cards.
It's one that generates the lowest heat and isn't too loud. It's mainly the reason it has been so long sold out.

The name tag "Gaming" on motherboards is a marketing trick on some and on some it ain't one. It does have benefits, sometimes better voltage circuits, voltage transformer for extreme overclockers. But on some you don't gain anything except less money in the wallet. Yup, it's just a scheme. On the other hand the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard is good value for money for its external connections.
The MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate is a good little performer (does 155Gflops in Linx stress test with a Intel 4770S (2x4GB CL9 1600Mhz Corsair Venegance RAM, Bios. 1.6) for under 60€ with less external connections and no S/PDIF.
If you are into sound an audiophile. Than I would suggest get the MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate and with the rest of the money an Asus Xonar D2X used, they sell around 50€. If your not than any card will do good. Z87 Chipsets go well with K (Unlocked) proccesors they offer you the bios where you can tweak (Overclock) them. You don't need an Z87 chipset. But the B85 H81 H87 H97 Q87 costs the same and offers you less connectivity and memory slots for the 60€ price tag you can always buy more ram.
The Balistix are a good pick you can't go wrong with them. this one : (BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00)
Your linked ones don't match.
(I would also recommend the Corsair Vengeance Pro silber DIMM Kit 8GB, DDR3-2133, CL9-11-11-31 as of writing these cost 61,17€ Amazon
Edit// they are now sold out.)
compare for yourself: http://geizhals.de/?cat=ramddr3&xf=2216_DDR3~253_8192#xf_top

For the PSU any good brand with 300 max. 350Watt is sufficient for this PCPartPicker constellation.
Pick one: http://geizhals.de/?cat=gehps
e.g http://geizhals.de/be-quiet-pure-power-l8-300w-atx-2-4-bn220-a960670.html
(Can't recommend you one I'm using in my built a Corsair Professional Series Gold AX850 850W ATX 2.31)

If you want the best bang for the buck.
Go with AMD.

AMD FX-8370 http://geizhals.de/amd-fx-8370-fd8370frhkbox-a1155953.html
ASUS M5A97 Evo R2.0 includes S/PDIF (Sony Philips Digital Interface) http://geizhals.de/asus-m5a97-evo-r2-0-90-mibjj0-g0eay0mz-a850618.html
PSU: any good brand at leat 350Watts

regarding monitors this are all available for order
http://geizhals.de/?cat=monlcd19wide&asuch=&bpmax=&v=e&plz=&dist=&mail=&sort=p&xf=103_144Hz
can't recommend you any though. Quality wise I'm using the Philips brand love their products. Keep in mind they use all TN panel technology. A good idea would be to go to your local retailer and let the clerk show you any significant differences. If you do photoshop or similar TN panels are not know for it to be used in this field.
but regarding gaming they are good.

Soundcard: http://geizhals.de/?cat=sndpci&xf=1222_S/PDIF+Out#xf_top

SSD: Samsung 830 Series 256GB is not being sold anymore. get a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB
As far as I know the MX100 256GB is only by a small margin slower than the Samsung 840 EVO 250GB.
You wrote that you already have some ssd. I'm not sure why you included it in the configuration.

regarding gta 5 you are good to go. Specs are not out for this game. I have good believe that it won't be CPU dependent but graphics optimized. As long as you don't play on some old (S-ATA-1 150Mb or S-ATA2) harddisk. there sould be no hiccups.

Happy building.

Jop, dessen bin ich mir bewusst, aber dennoch danke für die Information! Das mit dem vorhandenen Anschluss auf dem Mainboard wusste ich nicht! Vielen Dank
