Ein einfaches Anzeige-Tool für X.509 Zertifikate (Microsoft Windows).

Beschreibung:

In order to display an X.509 certificate, simply drop a certificate file in the binary (DER) or the Base64-encoded (PEM) format onto the CertViewer window. Alternatively, you can copy a certificate in the PEM format to the clipboard. Last but not least, it is also possible to pass a certificate file to CertViewer via command-line parameter.

Note: By default, CertViewer continuously monitors the clipboard for "viewable" certificates in the PEM format.

Benötigt .NET Framework 4.7.2 oder neuer.
Ist bereits enthalten in Windows 10 ab v1803 (April 2018), sowie in allen Versionen von Windows 11.

Schön, dass du die Entwicklung eifrig fortsetzt, aber für Bugfixes, Dependencies und kleinere Änderungen braucht es kein Update im Forum. Das ist hier schließlich kein Entwicklungsblog, sondern ein Vorschlagsthread, in dem sich insbesondere Nutzer der Software mit ihren Erfahrungen zu Wort melden sollen, damit wir uns ein Bild machen können. Wenn da ein Entwickler im Thread "Selbstgespräche führt", schreckt das potenziell Interessierte beim Klicken in den Thread eher ab, da das Fehlen von Rückmeldungen und Austausch eher allgemeines Desinteresse signalisiert.

Wenn es ein Update mit neuen Features gibt, die den Gesamteindruck der Software signifikant gegenüber dem ursprünglichen Vorschlag verändern, kannst du das gerne erwähnen, aber nötig ist es nicht - der Vorschlag ist bereits "auf dem Radar".

Das Tool ist Super! Endlich mal eine GUI in diesem ganzen openssl CLI Wahnsinn.
Bin echt froh da hier gefunden zu haben (über github hat das nicht geklappt).
