CUPS Webinterface kann nicht verbinden

Guten Tag liebe Community!

Ich habe mir heute einen neuen Drucker gekauft (Samsung Xpress SL-C480FW) und will den nun mit Samba verbinden um von mehreren PCs drucken zu können

Mir ist bei meiner Suche auf google aufgefallen dass ich CUPS brauche um das ganze zum laufen zu bringen
Habe nun also folgendes Paket installiert:

apt-get install cups

da es ja ein webinterface für cups wollte ich gleich in das reingehen um alles zu konfigurieren da ich nicht mit

localhost:631

verbinden kann weil mein NAS ja keinen Desktop hat hab ich das von einem anderen PC versucht über

192.168.0.106:631

nö. Statt localhost die IP-Adresse von deinem Server/NAS eingeben und dann den Dienst neustarten.
Localhost bzw. 127.0.0.1 ist immer nur für sich selber ansprechbar

Port 631 (ja nur das!)
hinzufügen. Dienst Neustarten.

Was das denn für ein Unsinn? Ob localhost, 127.0.0.1 oder die vergebene IP, ist doch alles das Gleiche...
Revidiere meine Aussage und behaupte das Gegenteil... Hatte eben ein Brett vor dem Kopf...

Hö, warum überhaupt so kompliziert ? Netzwerkkabel dran und das Webinterface aufrufen, dann unter Netzwerkeinstellungen die Dienste aktivieren die du brauchst, z.B. WSD, dann ist dein Drucker an jedem Rechner im selben Netzwerk verfügbar.
