Ext. Festplatten gehen immer aus

Hi;

folgendes Problem - hab am PC-Windows 10 einen 4er-HUB angeschlossen und daran per USB
eben 4 externe Festplatten Seagate OneTouch angeschlossen jeweils 1 TB.

Das Problem nach einer Weile zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten gehen unterschiedliche Platten nicht mehr.

Sie verschwinden aus dem Explorer - erst nach Aus- und wieder Einstecken funktionieren die wieder -
dachte auch an defektes Kabel - doch ein Austausch brachte keine Verbesserung.

Hab in den Energieeinstellungen im Gerätemanager für USB auch das automatische Ausstellen abgestellt.

Doch brachte nix - was kann ich noch tun bzw. woran kann das liegen?

Hat der USB-Hub und/oder die Festplatten ein Netzteil?
Falls nein, hat sich die Frage damit vermutlich schon geklärt.

Ansonsten hatte ich bei externen USB-HDDs auch schon, dass sich der Bridge Chip verabschiedet wenn er zu viel zu tun bekommt - vermutlich überhitzt.
Kaum hatte ich die HDDs ausgebaut und mit einem Dock benutzt haben die fehlerfrei funktioniert.

b) nein keins davon hat ein Netzteil
Die Platten schalten sich auch im Ruhezustand ab

Ja wo soll denn auch die Power für 4x externe herkommen? Da entweder einen Hub mit Strom Versorgung kaufen oder einzeln nutzen.

Ja. Einen Hub mit Netzteil verwenden oder nur eine Platte gleichzeitig einstecken.

Funktioniert tatsächlich jetzt - hab zwei Festplatten an den PC angeschlossen und dafür die Tastatur und meine Soundbar an den Hub angeschlossen - bisher werden die ext. FP zuverlässig erkannt und schalten
sich auch nicht mehr ab
