ich versuch gerade MAGIC VLSI Layout Tool zu installieren.
Cygwin und der X-Server laufen korrekt, aber wenn ich Magic mit magic -w starten will kommt die Meldung bash: magic: command not found.
In der Anleitung heißt es Download magic_win_tcl.zip here. Unzip it in the Windows root directory containing Cygwin (by default, C

Cygwin ist in C:\cygwin installiert - aber egal wo ich Magic hinpacke (den kompletten Ordner magic in C:\ , den Inhalt von magic in C:\ oder alles in cygwin), es klappt nicht.
Außerdem heißt es zur magic_win_tcl.zip:
From this zip file, executables will appear in /usr/local/bin relative to the Cygwin root directory ("/" in the Cygwin terminal, C:\cygwin\ in Windows, by default). The magic run-time files (tech files, etc.) are in /usr/local/lib/magic/. The X11-based "wish" (TCL) program is in /usr/local/bin, and the Tcl/Tk dynamically-linked libraries (.dll) are in /usr/local/lib.
Die hier angegebenen Pfade (/usr/local/...) habe ich in der Zip-Datei gar nicht.
