SQL MySQL-Server nur über localhost, nicht über LAN erreichbar

Hallo,

ich habe vor ein paar Tagen unseren LAN-Datenbankserver neu aufgesetzt und bin dabei, alle Datenbanken wieder zu installieren.

Dabei hab ich nun ein Problem mit dem MySQL-Server für CAO-Faktura (falls es jemand kennt).
Der Server läuft und ist per HeidiSQL auch über localhost erreichbar, von einem anderen Rechner im LAN ist allerdings nicht. HeidiSQL lädt dabei erst so ne halbe Minute und sagt mir dann folgende Fehlermeldung: "ERROR 2003: Can't connect to MySQL server on '192.168.1.50' (10061)".
(192.168.1.50 ist der Server)

In der MySQL-Benutzerverwaltung am localhost hab ich schon den Zugang für andere PCs im LAN freigegeben, mit entsprechenden Zugangsdaten. Funktioniert aber leider trotzdem nicht.
Firewalls sind auch (vorübergehend) deaktiviert.

Any ideas?

Da MySQL alle Verbindungen empfangen soll und nicht nur die von localhost,

muss man /etc/mysql/my.cnf oder manchmal unter /etc/my.cnf editieren.

Die Zeile bind-address = 127.0.0.1 und skip-networking müssen auskommentieren werden:

nano /etc/mysql/my.cnf

[...]
#bind-address = 127.0.0.1
#skip-networking
[...]

Nun MySQL neu starten:

/etc/init.d/mysql restart

ja, von der Sache hab ich auch schon gelesen, aber entweder bin ich zu blind sie zu finden, oder diese Zeilen existieren in meiner my.ini (OS ist Windows 7) nicht.
/etc/mysql/my.cnf entspricht doch unter Windows 7 dann in etwa C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\my.ini oder nicht?

Ach ja: Der MySQL ist in der Version 4.1 installiert (höhere Versionen werden von CAO nicht unterstützt).

Vielleicht fehlt dem Benutzeraccount noch die Domäne o. ä. ?

Ist der Benutzeraccount für den Clientrechner (User@client1) oder allgemein konfiguriert (User@%) ?

Hört sich allerdings nach deiner Beschreibung eher nach einem Timeout als nach Rechteproblemen an.
Sicher, dass der Server definitiv vom Client erreichbar ist und das dazwischen kein Router ist, der den Port blockiert ?

Kannst per z. B. Netzlaufwerk auf den Server zugreifen ?
 
Der Benutzeraccount ist mit admin@% und eben Passwort konfiguriert, aber mit diesen Daten komm ich wie gesagt nicht von einem anderen Rechner auf den Server.

Windows-Freigaben und andere Datenbankserver funktionieren auch wunderbar über LAN. Nur der MySQL macht Probleme. :/

mal ganz simpel.
Ist der Server per Ping erreichbar von den anderen PCs?
Wenn Nein dann deaktiviere die Windows-Firewall und Teste erneut.

Edit: Grml hast du das mit den Firewalls editiert? :D

Trotzdem mal Ping probieren.

Firewall ist definitiv GANZ aus ?

Wird der Port 3306 mit "netstat -p tcp" aufgeführt ?

EDIT
Heidi versuchts auch auf 3306 und nicht auf einem andeen Port ?

Versuch mal mit dem Programm "portping" auf den Server:3306 zuzugreifen. Klappts ?

Hah! Gut, dass du die Firewall noch mal erwähnt hast.
Ich dachte eigentlich, die sei immernoch aus, war sie aber nicht - es lag an der Windows-Firewall!

Hm, wie peinlich! :mussweg: :D


Hab die mysqld-nt jetzt manuell zur Ausnahmeliste hinzugefügt und es funktioniert. Danke für die Mühe!
