Notepad++ 6 Release Candidate is available here:

This zip contains only Unicode version

New features and enhancement in release 6:
1.  PCRE (Perl Compatible Regular Expressions) is supported.
2.  Document Map feature is added (via Menu View->Document Map).
3.  Enhance the loading performance for the large file.

Thank davegb3 for making PCRE available in Notepad++ and thank loreia2 for investing in the solution of loading performance issue.
