SQL2005 SP4 Updates scheitern auf dem Server 2008

Hallo zusammen,
habe auf einen Server folgendes Problem, das ich den SQL 2005 Express SP4 u. Advanced für das SP4 nicht installiert bekomme. (Update KB2463332)
Bisher habe ich probiert die Update einzeln zu installieren oder manuell herunterzuladen, per FIXIT den Update Dienst zu reparieren usw. auch die beiden SQL Dienste (Acronis/ G-Data) kurz beendet und nur die Windows eigenen Dienste laufen lassen bei der Installation. (Fehler im Update Dienst (64C u. 2C24) Diese beiden Fehler bringen mich auch irgendwie nicht weiter.
Denn das eigentlich Problem ist, der Server RAM läuft so ziemlich voll. Nach einem Neustart ca. 3,5GB und schon nach einer Stunde Betrieb ist auf 6 GB und dieser Prozess geht dann bis die 8 GB RAM voll kommen eingenommen sind.

OS: Windows Server 2008 Standard FE SP1 64Bit

Jemand eine Idee?
 
Zu Deinem ersten Problem kann ich leider nichts sagen, aber ist es nicht der Sinn des RAMs - benutzt zu werden?
Für was hast Du den den Arbeitsspeicher in einem Server drin? Mein Exchange-Server hier hat 20GB und die soll er auch gefälligst benutzten. Unser SQL2008R2 darf auch gerne seine 16GB verwenden, dafür hat der Server den Arbeitsspeicher...
 
Wie Rego auch schon schreibt ist das nicht das Problem, sondern ein gewünschtes Verhalten.
Die Fehlermeldung deutet jedoch auf Speichermangel hin. Wie viel Platz hast du denn für die Auslagerungsdatei? Ist auf dem Laufwerk noch Platz?

Das Problem ist doch ein ganz anderes, natürlich soll der Arbeitsspeicher benutzt werden aber dieser läuft nun mal voll. Somit ist es nicht mal Möglich den IE um z.B. interne Dienste abzufragen. Es kann auch einfach nicht sein das für Acronis/ G-Data bzw einen Server wo sonst wenig läuft, so überlastet ist (weniger als 7 Benutzer, Exchange, WSUS)

Ich habe die Updates z.B. direkt nach einem Neustart angestoßen, somit waren 4GB RAM frei, hat auch nichts gebracht

Auf diesem Server ist auch noch Exchange? Wenn ja in welcher Version? Nur 8GB RAM bei Exchange + SQL + WSUS ist HEFTIG... auch bei 7 Usern.
 
Erweitert wird der RAM eh, allerdings kenne ich andere Server die mit weniger Speicher auskommen und noch Server basierte Programme installiert haben. (Microsoft Exchange 07)

evtl. ist bei dir auch nur der WUA defekt...

1. Stop the Automatic Updates service and BITS service.

net stop wuauserv

net stop bits

2. Delete “%windir%\softwaredistribution” directory.

3. Start the Automatic Updates service and BITS service. When these two services
have been started, they will auto-create “softwaredistribution” and its subfolder
at system directory.

net start wuauserv

net start bits

4. After the “%windir%\softwaredistribution” directory has been generated, please
let the client contact the WSUS server immediately.

wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow


If the problem still exists, please check %windir%\windowsupdate.log
and post the error message in this thread
