VPN mit vServer und Plesk 12

Ich habe eine Verständnisfrage zum VPN Modul von Plesk. Ich muss dort eine Local und eine Remote Peer Adress festlegen, default sind da irgendwelche Privaten IPs festgelegt.
Die Hilfe von Plesk sagt auch:

Two hosts connected by a VPN channel need to have a pair of virtual network interfaces to route the traffic through. You need to assign two IP addresses to them, one for each side of the VPN circuit. These IP addresses should be chosen from some private address spaces and it is important that they should not overlap with any of the IP addresses present in the local networks on either side of the tunnel. The two addresses you pick must differ only in the two least significant bits, these being 01 in one address and 10 in the other. You can pick .1 and .2 for the last octets, for example. Note that the default values are only an illustration! Always check the real configuration of your network so that you do not run into IP collision problems.

Vorgeschlagen wird z.b. 172.16.0.1 und 172.16.0.2

Wenn ich mich aber dann mit dem Server verbinde bekommt mein Client ja 172.16.0.2 zugewiesen. Dann kann ich mit dem Server auf 172.16.0.1 kommunizieren aber ich kann dann ja noch nicht über die Public IP des Servers im Internet surfen. Dazu müsste ich wahrscheinlich noch entsprechende Routing Regeln erstellen. In Plesk selber kann ich das nicht machen. Hat jemand eine Anleitung dazu? Und brauche ich dafür eine 2. externe IP auf meinem Server welche noch "frei" ist?

Wenn du ein "Roadwarrior" Setup möchtest, dann wäre das "localnet" deines vServers "ANY" also 0.0.0.0/0 remote Adresse ist bei diesem Vorhaben uninteressant bzw. der falsche Setupansatz. Denn dies ist nur interesannt wenn du eine Site2Site Verbindung herstellen willst. "Roadwarrior" oder Site2End Verbindungen können hierzu unabhängig von der Remote Adresse konfiguriert werden.
