Win7 64bit erkennt externe Seagate HDD nicht!

Hallo!

Ich habe mit dem neu installierten Win7 Home Premium 64bit ein Problem.

Die externe Seagate HDD die immer funktioniert hat, erkennt Win7 nicht.
D.h. Win will die Treiber installieren kann es aber nicht und bricht an. Unter Geräte und Drucker wird das Ding als unbekannt angezeigt. Ansonsten wirds es nur im System Manager als unbekanntes Device angezeigt.

Das Netz ist voll mit dem Problem, nur ne Lösung gibt es nicht. Auch nicht von Seagate.

Hat wer Abhilfe?

Edit: Handelt sich natürlich um eine externe via USB angeschlossene Platte. Typ Seagate Expansion

Ich würde die festplatte mal abstöpseln, windows hochfahren, windows runterfahren und wieder anstöpseln

An was für eine USB Schnittstelle steckst du die HDD an ? Vorne oder Hinten ? Oder habe ich was überlesen und die HDD wird über SATA verbunden ?

Moep schon probiert. Funzt natürlich nicht, wäre ja auch einfach.

Unter Datenträgerverwaltung ist die Platte auch nicht angezeigt. Also Buchstaben zuweisen oder so ist nicht...

Man ist das nervig ...

Edit: ne ist USB. Nur hinten, direkt am Mainboard. Front ist nicht angesteckt.

Deinstalliere alles was als unbekannt angezeigt wir, starte neu und schliesse sie wieder an.

Tue mal neustarten und lass dabei die Festplatte draußen , und dann schließ die Festplatte mal an einem anderen USB-Eingang an.

Alles schon probiert. Ist kein Nap Problem. Einschalten ausschalten ist leider nicht. Sry

weiß nicht wie gut dein Englisch ist aber hier eine lösung von der Seagate Website:

For Vista and Windows 7 Only: If the drive works fine on another computer, there are a few steps to follow while the drive is connected to the original computer:
#

1.

Right-click on Computer and choose Manage.
2.

Double-click on the Device Manager.
3.

The device will usually appear under "Other Devices" or "Unknown Devices"; right-click on it and choose Uninstall.
4.

Once it has disappeared from the Device Manager, disconnect the device.
5.

Open a Windows Explorer window (right-click on Start > Explore).
6.

Disconnect the device from the computer (unplug the USB cable).
7.

In the address bar, type c:\windows\inf and press Enter. For Windows 7 type c:\windows\system32\driverstore and press Enter.
8.

Delete the file INFCACHE.1.
9.

If you get an error when trying to delete this file, try the following steps:
1.

Right-click on INFCACHE.1.
2.

Select Properties.
3.

Click on the Security tab.
4.

Click Edit to edit permissions.
5.

Click Add to add Group or User name.
6.

Click on the user name under which you are currently logged in.
7.

Click on the Full Control box in the lower permissions section, then click OK.
8.

Delete the file.
9.

Reboot and reconnect the drive. The file should be rebuilt, correcting the problem.
10.

If that fails, you will need to try to reload the USB drivers for the operating system by inserting your Vista install CD, rebooting, and attempting a Repair/Restore.
This can be dangerous to your data and you should disconnect your external drive before attempting this
