Windows XP Format bei 99 % abbrechen

Ich wollte heute ein Windows XP Home Edition auf mein PC neuinstallieren, weil mein vorhrige Windows XP noch immer Problem hat. => https://www.computerbase.de/forum/threads/nach-dem-start-windowsbetrieb-kommt-bluescreen.137169/

Deshalb mache ich ganz WinXP neuinstallieren. Zuerst muss WinXp-Installation auf Festplatte C: (habe zwei festplatte C und D. D ist Backup) formatiert. Bei Format abbrecht immer bei 99 % und kommt Bluescreen. Ich habe drei mal versucht. Es ist erfolglos.

das heißt, festplatte ist beschädigt? wenn ja, wieso? von 1 jahr wurde neue Festplatte "Maxtor 60 GB" gekauft.

Haste schonmal versucht ne andere Formatierung zu machen (gibt ja NTFS oder FAT und da jeweils nochmal normal oder schnell).

Hab bei nem Kumpel letztens den PC neu installiert, und da ging die normale Frmatierung auch nicht. Mit schnell hat's geklappt. Zum Test hab ich danach nochmal die normale genommen und dann hat das da auch funktioniert.
