XFX Radeon HD 4770 (512 MB) - Lüftersteuerung

Ich hab gelesen das hier schon andere das gleiche Problem haben.
Der Lüfter dreht unter Last ständig auf und wieder zu, bzw. wird schneller und wieder langsamer. Das stört gewaltig.

Hier konnte ich lesen, das der XFX Support ein Firmware Update bereitstellt. Leider kann ich es beim besten Willen nicht auf der Homepage von XFX finden und komm auch irgendwie nicht sorecht klar mit dem dort angebotenen Support.

Ich hoffe ihr habt einen entsprechenden Link, oder eine Idee an die neue Firmware zu kommen.

Ansonsten hättest du auch die Möglichkeit, XFX direkt anzuschreiben und ihnen dein Problem zu schildern. Die stellen das BIOS nicht online, weil Grafikkarten zu flashen nicht eben was für jeden ist und die sich sonst wohl nicht mehr retten könnten vor lauter kaputtgeflashten Karten.

Hi, vielen dank für den Link.
Ich habe jetzt ein "Support Ticket" auf der XFX Seite ausgefüllt, aber noch keine Antwort erhalten. Ich warte jetzt noch ein zwei Tage ansonsten werde ich auf die gelisteten BIOS Updates zurückgreifen.

Hierzu noch eine Frage - es sind 4 BIOS Versionen online, welche davon benötige ich denn damit das Problem mit dem Lüfter verschwindet?
Die Details helfen mir da wenig weiter, sie zeigen scheinbar nur an ob sich die Taktrate verändert.

Da bin ich leider überfragt. Ich hab diese Karte nicht selbst. Aber im Zweifelsfall nimmt man immer das BIOS mit dem aktuellsten Release-Datum.

[ 1/25/2010 9:57:58 PM] Hei, i have a problem with the FAN control of my XFX Radeon HD 4770. As soon as i start any 3D Game the FAN starts blowing stronger which is normal because the GPU is loaded. But it doesnt blow at a constant speed. Its like the graphic card starts "breathing" - it blows maybe 3 seconds fast and then returns to normal speed for 3-4 seconds. Thats really annoying. I heard there is some kind of "Firmware Update" on this homepage, but i cant find it! Could you help me out? Regards

So does the fan repeatedly increase then decrease over and over again until you shut down the game? But to answer your question: Yes the card has this "bug" since i bought it. (was about 2 month ago) - And yes the fan repeatedly increase then decrease over and over again until i exit the game. Solltet ihr das gleiche Problem haben, reicht es wie ihr seht ein Ticket auszufüllen.
