Zwei Nvme Ssd mit Z97 Board?

Hallo

Ich habe folgende Frage: Ich besitze ein Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H Mb das ich mit einer Samsung Sm961 SSD (mittels Delock Pcie Adapter) betreibe. Meine Frage wäre nun ob ich noch eine zweite SSD mittels PCIE Adapter einbauen kann und diese dann den vollen Speed nutzen kann?

Dein Motherboard hat 8 SATA Anschlüsse, warum schließt Du die SSD da nicht an?

Weil er zwei NVme SSDs also die SM 961 SSD pcie nutzen will. Was soll den dann Sata bringen?

Theoretisch ja, warum nicht. Solange nicht zuviel andere steckkarten drinnen stecken. In deinem handbuch zum MB steht die Lane Verteilung drinnen.

Könnte man finden wenn man suchen wollte.

Sofern Dir acht Lanes für Deine Grafikkarte reichen, dann bleiben jeweil vier Lanes für die SSDs übrig.

hättest du sicher auch selber finden können.

ja, du kannst per adapter auch eine weitere PCIe-SSD voll anbinden.

Wenn er eine SM961 in einem der beiden anderen PCIe 3.0 Slots betreibt, hat die Graka ja sowieo nur noch 8 Lanes, 4 für die SSD und die anderen 4 sind derzeit ungenutzt und können bei dem Board für die zweite PCIe SSD genutzt werden, ohne die Anbindung irgendeiner anderen HW einzuschränken. Einen x12 Modus gibt es bei PCIe ja nicht, sondern nur x1, x2, x4, x8 und x16!
