Intel Core Ultra: Tests zu 285K, 265K und 245K für Ende Oktober erwartet
Wie VideoCardz berichtet, ist mit Tests der ersten Arrow-Lake-S-Prozessoren am 24. Oktober zu rechnen. Dann soll das Embargo auf Berichte zu den drei ersten CPUs Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K(F) und Core Ultra 5 245K(F) fallen. Offiziell vorstellen wird Intel die neue Serie bereits zwei Wochen früher am 10. Oktober.
Arrow Lake und Lunar Lake stehen sich nahe
Arrow Lake-S alias Core Ultra 200(K) setzt wie Lunar Lake alias Core Ultra 200V auf ein Chiplet-Design (Intel nennt die Chiplets „Tiles“) und bringt die neuen P- und E-Cores sowie die Battlemage-iGPU und eine NPU mit.
Arrow Lake wird dabei mehr (8+16 statt 4+4) und auch noch einmal leicht angepasste Kerne (Cache) bei höheren Taktraten dank höherer TDP bieten. Die Fertigung aller Tiles erfolgt wie bei Lunar Lake bei TSMC.

Core Ultra 200 braucht neue Mainboards
Nach drei Generationen auf Intels Sockel LGA 1700 sind auch neue Mainboards mit Sockel LGA 1851 fällig. Die K-CPUs werden vorerst von zahlreichen Z890-Mainboards begleitet, zur CES ist traditionell mit Non-K-CPUs und den kleineren Chipsätzen zu rechnen. Wie sie sich unterscheiden werden, ist durch detaillierte Gerüchte bereits bekannt.

Arrow Lake wird auch im Notebook erwartet
Zur CES könnte dann auch die Vorstellung von Arrow Lake-H erfolgen, den mobilen Ablegern, die über den auf maximale Effizienz getrimmten Lunar-Lake-CPUs positioniert werden und aller Voraussicht nach die von OEMs bevorzugte Wahl in Gaming-Notebooks mit GeForce RTX 5000 Laptop GPU werden dürften.
