Windows 11: Insider Preview Build 22000.100 mit Chat erschienen

Mit dem in der Zwischenzeit auf kompatiblen PCs über den „Dev Channel“ gestarteten Rollout der Insider Preview Build 22000.100 bringt Microsoft erstmals auch eine Vorschau auf den Chat aus Microsoft Teams in Windows 11 unter. Als kumulatives Update KB5004300 kommt der neue Build auch auf bestehende Installationen.

Windows 11 und Microsoft Teams verschmelzen

Mit dem aktuellen Stand der Entwicklung von Windows 11 (Bericht), die zuvor bereits mit dem Build 22000.51, dem Build 22000.65 und zuletzt mit dem Build 22000.71 in Augenschein genommen werden konnte, beginnt die Verschmelzung des Betriebssystems und der Groupware Microsoft Teams.

Erstmals kann der Chat aus Microsoft Teams ohne Umwege direkt aus Windows 11 heraus vom Anwender genutzt werden. Auf bereits bestehenden Systemen mit einer Windows-11-Installation, die über einen Microsoft Account für das Windows 11 Insider Programm und den „Dev Channel“ angemeldet ist, erhalten die neue Vorschau voll automatisch über das kumulative Update KB5004300.

Damit erhalten Tester auch ein neues sogenanntes „Flyout“ mit den versteckten Symbolen im Informationsbereich der Taskleiste, das optisch besser zum Stil von Windows 11 passt. Apps, die im Hintergrund aktiv sind und die Aufmerksamkeit des Anwenders erfordern, machen sich jetzt durch Blinken visuell bemerkbar. Außerdem wurde der Microsoft Store hinsichtlich Navigation und Bedienbarkeit überarbeitet und mit Animationen aufgewertet.

Die offiziellen Release Notes der Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.100 fallen sehr umfangreich aus.

• We have started rolling out Chat from Microsoft Teams to Insiders in the Dev Channel. Not everyone will see it right away.
• The hidden icons flyout on the lower right of the Taskbar has been updated to match the new visuals of Windows 11. (Please note – it may not look right after updating to this build – toggling between two themes will correct the issue.)
• We added the ability to quickly access Focus assist settings directly from Notification Center.
• When a background activity from an app requires attention, the app will flash on the Taskbar to get your attention. In Windows 11, we have updated this design so that it still grabs your attention but with a calming treatment that minimizes the impact of unwarranted distractions. The subtle flashing eventually stops, and you will see a slightly red backplate and red pill under the app icon continuing to note a background activity needs your attention. • The touch keyboard icon in the Taskbar has been adjusted to be more consistent with the size of the other icons in the corner of the Taskbar.
• The Taskbar calendar flyout will now fully collapse down when clicking the chevron in the top corner to give you more room for notifications.
• In the latest Microsoft Store update rolling out to Insiders, we made navigation in our new Microsoft Store feel fast and fun. When you select an app or movie you’re interested in, you might notice some animations that help you keep track of what you’re browsing. Give it a try, we hope you like it as much as we do.
