Asus E200H cmos reset

Hallo Computerfreunde,

wir haben das Bios-Systempasswort für das Asus E200H vergessen. Der Computer fragt immer nach dem Passwort und startet nicht, da Passwort falsch.

Wir kommen auch nicht mehr in das Bios hinein! (über F2-Taste auch nicht möglich).

Habe nun das Notebook geöffnet um die Batterie (CMOS reset) herauszunehmen.
Ich finde aber keine CMOS Batterie und auch keinen Reset -Knopf.

Wer hat eine Idee?
Asus-Support möchte 70 € haben, um dieses Problem zu lösen.

Naja bei einem BIOS-Passwort sieht das dann auch sehr schlecht für dich aus.
Das ist normalerweise auch nicht durch einen CMOS reset zu löschen.

Aber es gibt solche Listen im Internet mit Standard-Passwörtern geordnet nach BIOS-Datum:

LONG STORY SHORT:
If an ASUS computer has a admin bios password at boot.
1) Open computer and remove the button battery on motherboard to reset clock
2) Check the recovery date by pressing alt+r at the ENTER PASSWORD screen.
3) Consult this list for the recovery password http://pastebin.com/L3c3rySj
4) Enter recovery password at recovery screen.

Thanks for the post. I was unable to reset my system date, but I found a workaround and wanted to share for any future viewers. I found that the codes listed in the paste bin above (http://pastebin.com/L3c3rySj) had a pattern. Every month/day combination shares the same last 4 characters. So it's the year that changes the first set of characters, and these characters repeat.

For example:
At the password prompt, press alt+r
Take note of the date displayed. For me it was 2017-05-11
Use Ctrl+F to search the paste bin for your month and date. I used "-05-11"
Use the codes you find until one of them works. Mine was the same code as 2007-05-11 from the paste bin.
It looks like the codes might repeat every 10 years. So I would suggest starting with the month and date combination from 10 years prior to whatever date is displayed after you press alt+r.

Danke für die Info,

das Notebook ist aus 03-2016.
Asus Support teilte hierzu mit, dass kein eigener Reset möglich ist. Nur die Technik Asus kann über ein eigenes spezielles flash für 70 € helfen.

Schade, dass über das vergessene Bios -Systempasswort Unbrauchbarkeit für den Kunden ausgelöst wird.

Naja, es geht ja ums BIOS-Datum nicht ums Notebook Alter.

Schritte oben befolgt? Der im zweiten Quote hat ja eines aus 05-2017 und es so gelöst.

Und naja: Warum setzt man denn überhaupt ein Bios-Passwort und erzwingt die Eingabe beim Start?
Wenn ich die Daten darauf so schützen will, dann schreib ich mir das Passwort auch irgendwo auf und das landet im Safe, etc.

leider reagiert das Notebook nur auf Passworteingaben, nichts anderes ist möglich - auch nicht alt+r etc.
Es erscheint immer nur der Passworteingabe-Dialog.

Das Bios-Passwort hat mein Sohn unnötig gesetzt und nicht gesichert - so ist es leider.

Auch finde ich keine CMOS Batterie oder einen Reset-Knopf auf dem Motherboard.

Wirklich ein Trauerspiel!

das schaffst du nicht.verwerte die einzelteile bzw. besorge dir ein neuens austausch-mainboard !
