Caseking.de: Ist Ihr bankrott meine einzige Hoffnung?

I did not think that you speak German. No idea how its like in Finland, but for i.e. DHL packages there always is an insurance up to 500 Euros. So you don't need to pay extra charge. Why didn't you buy at a retailer in your country?
 
In finland it's about 18euros without insurance.
Insured shipping to germany cost 43 euros :(

Why i didn't buy from finnish retailer was price, caseking was cheapest with paypal when i bought the card.

Still no information from caseking why they lie about that card was under rma-process.

From caseking:
"thank you for your reply. Your RMA is still in the process"
"thank you for your reply. The RMA handling could take few days due to the current delay"
"thank you for your reply. Your RMA is still in the process and we hope to finish within this week"
"We have currently a delay in our RMA department"

These all was lies, Why caseking, why :(

But I've good news also.

My card is on the way to xfx headquarter Amsterdam, i hope this trip is better than previous :)
 
JaniSan, it was under OUR rma process. As i mentioned it before, we dont get in touch with XFX few month ago, because the warranty has expired. Not only by us (a seller dont offer warranty btw, but thats another story), just at XFX directly because they give only 2 years. Delay was not because of any XFX RMA procedure it was ours.

Anyway, iam happy that XFX gave you extended warranty, that isnt usual. I think it was a good move to make this public in this forum, because XFX didnt looking to extend the warranty without it. And of course we talked to them, that there is a public issue and you need a solution for it.

So iam hoping you get your card back quick.
 
..the only epic fail is your reaction. Finally you have no warranty on the card - that's a fact. Everything else from Caseking's and XFX's side is an act of goodwill - they don't have to do that from legal side. So you should be lucky that they care about it at least and not just close the thread here.. so: better waiting for a replacement card than getting no replacement at all.

Manufacturer say :"We have checked that your card is still have 5 years warranty."
Who should i believe, you or manufacturer ?

Anyway, yesterday i received a new card, today i tested it succesfully :)
I feel better now, what we learn, public whining is worth of it.
 
You know that Caseking has nothing to do with XFX? If the manufacturer of the card offers a 5 years warranty, you have to talk to him about warranty issues, not to Caseking. So, for the future, maybe you should first think about the situation before you blame people or a company that has nothing to do with your problem...

I will explain it to you... cause it seems that you don't have any knowledge about warranty at all. In Germany we have two kinds of warranty. First there is the warranty by law. That means the merchant gives you 24 months warranty of the product selledy by him, but in the first 6 months since purchase, in the case of defect, the merchant has to prove that the product was faulty. After this 6 months you have to prove that the defect is caused by production fault. But the last fact don't concern you in your case.

The second warranty (manufacturer warranty) runs simultaneously to the warranty by law but all benefits you get with this manufacturer warranty are optional (based on goodwill).

In your case: You bought your graphics card at the 01.02.2011 (invoice date!) ... so the warranty by law ended at 02.02.2013. After this periode you have exclusively to contact the manufacturer cause you have still 3 years of the optional warranty remaining. The merchant in Germany isn't responsible anymore.

If you had contacted the manufacturer first, you had never had this issue.
