Hi Gabriel,GabrielFerraz14 schrieb:Cache folding speeds are when the pSLC Cache is out of space and ....
It's a very complex topic i hope i made myself clear enough
Thank you: Dnehonimo schrieb:Hi Gabriel,
I'm verry impressed!
First about your very helpful website. It does help me a lot. I'm not so experienced with SSD's and I am not so up to date about the models. I've tried to find information of size of pSLC Cache, write speed if pSLC is full and so on at the internet, but I've found only very little information
After discovering this thread and your website I've found this information. Thanks a lot!!!
Second: Thanks for your answer about the Cache folding speed. It was easy to read and easy to understand :thumb::thumb::thumb:
And third: It is unbelievable, that you have time to answer here questions and translate them from german to English etc. Thanks a lot :gulp:
I've just subscribed your YouTube channel techPowerUp to support you a little bit.
Best regards

Yes it is, there might be an QLC variant but the issue is that i couldn't find any data supporting it so i'd rather not create SSDs that " I think exist " but be based on actual data on SSDs that i've seen out there in reviews or forum's threadsEngaged schrieb:Is the site up to date?
P2 250gb is only specified there with TLC, so the TBW of the 250GB disk is actually as high as that of the 500GB with 150 TBW, the chances are good that it is TLC but according to micron support it is QLC, I asked because I had it on stingy installed in an Intel NUC, firmware is not yet listed on the micron website because no update is required, so everything is contradictory and a colorful grab bag.
yes, it's constantly being updated, almost every dayEngaged schrieb:Well, as a simple system drive for a NUC with N6005, the part is enough, but it actually remains a grab bag.
Only that the 250 GB has the same TBW as the 500GB and also officially has a slightly higher write rate gives hope for the good. 🤷🏻♂️🤣
Otherwise, such a database is of course great.
Something like that used to exist for GPUs and CPUs, I've been out of it for a long time, but is it still maintained?
That would be really great. Was the first thing i tought when i opened the page "How do i compare that one to the other one now?"GabrielFerraz14 schrieb:There are many more ideas to be added for the future, like comparison webpages where you can compare drives side by side, it will be much more complex then the GPU and CPU Database so it will take a bit of time.
That is neat!GabrielFerraz14 schrieb:True indeed but I intend to add all variants, just as an example, look for SX8200 in the search engine:
You are awesome! Thanks a lot for all the replies and explanations even though you had to break through the language barrier.GabrielFerraz14 schrieb:It's a very complex topic i hope i made myself clear enough
Impossible to know before buyingHaldi schrieb:That's neat!
But how exactly do you know which device you buy in the store if they have the same part number?

z.B. Schreibgeschwindigkeit wenn pSLC voll.r4v398 schrieb:die ich nicht auch auf z.B. Geizhals.de finden würde?
Exactly, we plan to add more data in the upcoming future, but in that website you won't find more technical data like NAND Flash Die specs if you're into that, i literally have Die datasheets with me herenehonimo schrieb:e.g. write speed when pSLC is full.
Or whether different variants are sold under the same name.
If you already have the SSD in hands there are tools that you can use that read the Flash ID of the NAND FLash and controller, link below:Red€y€ schrieb:Out of curiosity, how do you find out which variant you have?
Thanks, in the future more comparison ways will be added7oNine schrieb:Finally! Long awaited.. everyone can get a good overview.
I found that very helpful with the CPUs/GPUs..great layout.
