Eizo FG2421 - Weiße Ränder [Ecken]

Hi. Habe seit zwei Tagen den Eizo FG2421 daheim und ist an den Rändern d.h. rechte und linke Ecke des Bildschirms eine Art helle Beleuchtung aufgefallen, was mich allerdings nicht wirklich stört, da mein alter Monitor da auch seine Macken hatte^^
Nun frage ich mich, ob das normal ist bei so einem MVA Panel bzw. diesen hohen Helligkeitseinstellungen. Die hellen Ecken am Monitor sieht auch nur, wenn das Bild komplett schwarz ist..

Backlight leakage refers to the problem some screens exhibit where in a darkly lit room, and with a dark image on the screen, you can clearly see areas particularly around the edges where the backlight shines through. This is a problem with the manufacturing stage and quality of the monitor build. A lot of panels will show slightly uneven backlighting, with perhaps a little light noticeable at the edges of the screen or in the corners. This is nothing really to worry about, but panel uniformity can vary from one screen to the next. Some screens on the other hand show far more severe and distracting bleed and often a return to the manufacturer is the only option for the buyer.

Das kann jeden TFT unabhängig von der Technologie betreffen, da es durch eine ungleichmäßig verbaute Hintergrundbeleuchtung oder Spannung(en) im Gehäuse hervorgerufen wird. Dies lässt sich einfach überprüfen, in dem der Rahmen des Monitors ganz vorsichtig bewegt und damit der Lichthof verringert oder vergrößert wird.

Wenn du ein Rückgaberecht hast (Onlinehandel) würde ich es zurückschicken und ein neuen Monitor holen.
Alternativ mal bei Eizo im Support melden, die sind in der Regel sehr kulant.

P.s: Falls eine Rückgabe möglich ist, solltest du die Wahl des Monitor nochmal überlegen. Der Eizo Foris FG2421 ist schon recht alt. Mittlerweile bekommt man interesantere Gaming Monitore. (auch von Eizo)

Im Test auf tftcentral und prad gibt es keine Hinweise. Falls es stört, bleibt nur der Austausch.

Der Monitor hat ein Sharp LQ235D1LW03 MVA panel mit White-LED (W-LED) Hintergrundbeleuchtung.

No noticeable backlight leakage, and none from the edges which is good. This type of leakage may prove an issue when watching movies where black borders are present but it is not a problem here.
