problem mit noxon iradio

Uhm, are you sure you got the normal Noxon iRadio? Or whats the correct name of your Noxon?

Just wanted to go sure as there even is a "Noxon iRadio for iPod". Some people mix up the names.
Then this firmware is the correct one: ftp://ftp.terratec.de/HomeEntertainment/NOXONiRadio/Update/Beta/

Please try it again with this one.

trouble seems endless, the same message appears every time i try to upload the file on the user interface page:

C:\Users\...\Downloads\Bootloader\2008-01-23_iradio_terratec_firmware_FW6834_HWID165.bcd
The file is an invalid BCD file.

Interesting. Please do a complete reset of your iRadio by using the resetter on the back side of the device. Then try it again with the firmware please.

eins, zwei ,drei,vier, funf, sechs,sieben.......................................................ich habe es schon tausendmal versucht seit wochen und immer das gleiche error taucht auf.
ich warte und warte und warte but some day baby...

Wenn du den blauen Bildschirm siehst wie du bereits beschrieben hast mit der IP Adresse darin, musst du genau jene in deinem Browser öffnen und die Firmware dann entsprechend uploaden.

use the Firmware Manager from the zip-file
Does the Firmwre Manager detects your IRadio ? Compare the Hardware ID. It must be 165 for this Update.

Try to flash the bootloader with this tool. And after that the new firmware 6909. It has worked fine on my device.

answer to shaddi:

yes , i can see the blue screen and an ip adress appears that differs from the one it showes when the radio is working but the new http adress continues appearing a long while and nothing happens and if i type this adress on the web the page doesn´t show up:link error. besides i can´t find the noxon when i check it on the pc and the new http adress still continues on the noxon screen.

But when you restart it then you can use the Noxon when connected to your router? Listening to Internet Radio works without any problems?

silly me, i didn´t plug the ethernet cable into the noxon. now i´m seeing the http adress again and i´ll wait until something changes

There should be nothing changing. Just open the IP adress in your browser and upload the new firmware.

i open the ip adress, the device restarts, the terratec interface appears on the pc screen saying "The device is preparing for the firmware update.The browser refreshes the page automatically in a couple seconds, if this doesn't happen click here", i wait a bit,a new ip appears on the noxon, i click on the "if it doesn´t happen click here" and nothing happens, the page keeps charging, then stops, i click on the "click here", and nothing changes. i´m using both opera and internet explorer.

Open that IP then please in your browser.

i can´t . i´ve been able to acces to the update firmware page with the first ip but still "The file is an invalid BCD file". i desist for a while.thanks

tomorrow i´ll check if it works with the switch.
