Als das Problem in Pop!_OS beseitigt war, waren auch sofort wieder alle Audio-Geräte sichtbar & benutzbar.
Die Audio-GUIs sind also nur zum Einstellen der Geräte, aber keine Gerätetreiber-Konfigurationen.

Ja, da gibt's nur einen leeren [- - Default - -] o.s.ä. und die [ HDMI ]-Ausgänge sowie [ SPDIF ].
Es soll aber über den Realtek ALC1220 an den Kopfhörer ausgegeben werden. Der wird aber nicht angezeigt.
Vorher muss die Treiber-Kette wiederhergestellt werden, damit das wieder läuft.

Das hatte ich auch früher zwischendurch mal, aber noch auf Ubuntu mit pulseaudio. Und das kam immer nur nach einem Stand-By vor. Danach musste ich das System neustarten und es war behoben.

Es könnte also sein, dass es nicht unbedingt mit dem Soundsystem zu tun hat. Aber du hast berichtet, dass es nach einem pipewire Update passiert ist. Kann aber auch Zufall sein. Schwierig :)

Pipewire setzt auf ALSA auf. Wenn das schon nicht funktioniert, würde ich dort ansetzen, z.B. durch einen Blick in die Logs (journalctl oder dmesg). Oftmals fehlt nur ein SOF-Firmwareblob (Sound Open Firmware) für die Audiohardware. Das würde dann dort auch stehen.

Wow, bekomme zum ersten Mal wieder den Onboard-Sound zu sehen. :daumen:
Die letzten Tage wurden immer nur default: 0 und 1 angezeigt.
Mal sehen, was nach einem Neustart davon noch bleibt ...

Eine eventuelle Fehlermeldung wirst Du selbst finden müssen. Vielleicht mit dmesg |grep snd und dann dort in der Umgebung schauen. Ansonsten manuell das Log durchgehen und nach Audiofehlern schauen.

Dass Wireplumber crasht ist nicht normal. pipewire-media-session und Wireplumber dürfen nicht gleichzeitig installiert sein. Pacman würde das auch nicht erlauben. pipewire-media-session würde ich (sofern zutreffend) deinstallieren und auf jeden Fall die Maskierung entfernen. Wenn Du den pipewire-session-manager maskiert hast, wird Wireplumber kaum funktionieren.

Das könnte darauf hindeuten, dass etwas mit der Kamerainitialisierung oder v4l2 nicht stimmt. Eventuell das Gerät deaktivieren (rmmod oder Treiber blacklisten) oder schauen, wie man das in Pipewire deaktiviert. Wenn das nicht hilft, vielleicht auch einen Downgrade auf vorige Pipewire/Wireplumber Version testen (0.3.59).

Ja, läuft - aber im Fallback, da das den XDG-Vorgaben entsprechende Portal nicht erkannt/gefunden wird.
Das heißt vermutlich, dass ein ehemaliger PulseAudio-Port nicht von Pipewire besetzt/genutzt wird.

Ich nutze ja XDG-Desktop-Portal-GTK in Verbindung mit XFCE und Xorg/X11.
 
Es scheint eine Abhängigkeit zu sein.

Ich Weiß nicht ob du das ScreenCapture Feature brauchst, nur scheint der Pipewire Dienst nicht ohne zu funktionieren.

Hey - guter Riecher!
Hatte die USB-Kamera heute vor dem Start von EndeavourOS abgezogen ... et voilà:

Wenn ich die Kamera wieder einstecke, sind sofort die Audio-Geräte aus der Pulse-Audio LS-Regelung weg.
Bleibt dann auch bis zum Neustart so.

Lasse ich sie ausgesteckt, funktioniert es. Ton kommt auch. Yippiiieeehh !!!
Dann wird die USB-Cam im nächsten Schritt ge'blacklist'et.

Hab mal mit einer anderen kurzzeitig verfügbaren USB-CAM getestet.
Da funktioniert alles, wie es soll (sowohl am Notebook als auch am Desktop).

Der Fehler scheint irgendwie an der USB-CAM 1224:2a25 Jieli Technology USB PHY 2.0 zu liegen. Vielleicht wegen dem “Mono”-Ton bzw. der mangelnden Qualität (Defekt?) der Aufnahme-Quelle/des Eingabegerätes.

Rätselhaft bleibt, warum es dieses Problem nur mit EndeavourOS (nicht aber mit Pop!_OS und Windows 10) gibt.

Problem kann als "Gelöst" gesehen werden.
 
Heute funktioniert es nun auch mit der bereits vorhandenen USB-CAM - wie durch ein Wunder. 🤩
