Intel I5-3470 defekt?

Hallo.
Ich habe mir Heute eine neue CPU für meinen kleinen Wohnzimmer PC gekauft. Ich hatte bisher eine Intel I3 g840 CPU und diese wollte ich durch eine I5 3470 tauschen. Beide sind Sockel 1155 und für mein Mainboard geeignet.

Wenn ich versuche den PC mit der neuen CPU zu starten leuchten/laufen alle Lampen, Lüfter und Festplatten, nur bekommt der TV kein Signal... Nach etwa 10sec bleibt der CPU Lüfter stehen und startet wieder neu, ab diesen Zeitpunkt läuft er dann durchgehend bis ich ihn wieder abschalte.

Wenn ich meine alte CPU wieder Einbau startet der PC normal wie immer (mehrmals wiederholt). Ein BIOS Reset hab ich schon versucht, leider ohne Erfolg.


Hier die wichtigsten Systemdaten

CPU - Intel I3 g840 (neue I5 3470)
Mainboard - Zotac H67-ITX WiFi, H67 (Sockel-1155, dual PC3-10667U DDR3)
Netzteil hat 300watt

Grafikkarte benutze ich keine eigene sonder die der CPU. Den PC schließe ich per HDMI Kabel an.

Ich selbst glaube das die CPU defekt ist da die alte im PC funktioniert, bin mir aber nicht sicher ob es auch an etwas anderem liegen kann.

Ist das aktuellste Bios drauf ?? Der i3-G840 ist ein Sandy Bridge, der i5-3470 ein Ivy Bridge-Prozessor. Das H67-Board ist zu alt, ohne geeignetes Bios wird da nichts laufen. Dass eine CPU defekt ist, kommt eigentlich selten vor.

Vielleicht ist das BIOS nicht in der Lage mit dem neuen Prozessor zu starten (altes Board mit Ivy- CPU)!

Mach ein BIOS- Update (wenn es ein neueres BIOS gibt) mit der alten CPU und mach dann die neue rein!

Hmm hab keins drauf gespielt.. Muss ich also mit der alten CPU ein BIOS update machen damit es funktioniert?

Ja, mußte ich auch bei meinem P67- Board machen, als ich mir eine Ivy- CPU zulegte.
Die Umbauarbeiten waren nervig, aber eben notwendig.

Da gibt es extra ein BIOS Update für den Ivy Bridge CPU Support!

Danke für die Hilfe. BIOS hab ich gefunden. Leider ohne Anleitung wie ich es Installiere.. In der Mainboard Anleitung steht nichts darüber.. Ich Hof mal die wollen keine Diskette haben <.<...

Steht doch in der Zip Datei (readme Text oder pdf). Einfach befolgen.

This BIOS update is only for users who plan to migrade from "Sandy-Bridge" (32nm) CPU to "Ivy-Bridge" (22nm) CPU.
If you have no intention to change the CPU in this way, then this BIOS upgrade is not necessary.

The following descriptions are for advanced users only.
Failure to follow the exact steps may result in a corrupted BIOS !!!


[1] Prepare a Bootable USB Flash Drive containing DOS image, and decompress all files inside this ZIP file to the root of the Bootable USB Flash Drive

[2] Install a "Sandy-Bridge" (32nm) CPU to the target motherboard platform

[3] Plug the Bootable USB Flash Drive to a USB2.0 Port on the target platform

[4] Startup the target system, press <Del> key to enter CMOS Setup, configure the USB Flash Drive as First Boot Device, Save & Exit

[5] Restart to boot DOS from the USB Flash Drive

[6] Execute the first Batch file (Batch1.bat), system will reboot a few times after completed the Batch file

[7] Press <Del> key to enter CMOS Setup, then change the [ME FW Image Re-Flash] to Enabled, refer to Diagrams1-3

[8] Keep the USB Flash Drive plugged, and configure the USB Flash Drive as First Boot Device, Save & Exit

[9] Restart to boot DOS from the USB Flash Drive

[10] Execute the second Batch file (Batch2.bat), system will reboot a few times after completed the Batch file
DOS command : Batch2

[11] Remove the USB Flash Drive

[12] Press <Del> key to enter CMOS Setup, Load Optimized Default, Save & Exit


The resultant BIOS is ready to work with "Ivy-Bridge" (22nm) CPUs"

Formatier vorher deinen USB Stick und vergewisser dich, dass dein USB Stick fehlerfrei ist.

Zip Datei downloaden, Readme ausdrucken, gründlich lesen und befolgen.

Ok.. bei der Zotac Seite kann ich Bios Datei downloaden, sie ist allerdings Beschädigt bzw 0kb groß. Gibt es alternative Seiten wo ich das Bios bekomme?
