Bei einem älteren 2.3.0 release on Windows bitte updaten da es mount Probleme bis zu BSOD und Programmstartprobleme auf ZFS behebt und Probleme unter Issues melden. Das Update kann ein paar Minuten dauern, daher warten.

Was noch Probleme macht: ctrl-c/ ctrl-v auf einen Ordner dupliziert nicht den Ordner sondern die Dateien darin.

Kann man eigentlich - nur zu Testzwecken - auch OpenZFS auf einer Partition (bzw mehreren) nutzen - mit der ganzen SSD funktioniert es natürlich problemlos, würde aber gerne ein paar Sachen testen.

In einer Virtualbox würde das testen natürlich sicher gehen mich interssiert das aber "natiive" mit den Partionen

Am einfachsten mit filebasierten virtuellen Festplatten (.vhdx) arbeiten.
Die kann man im Windows Festplattenmanager oder in einer Storage web-gui anlegen, z.B.

ZFSin war ein "proof of concept" um zu zeigen dass ZFS unter Windows prinzipiell möglich ist. Der aktuelle OpenZFS 2.3 release candidate Dateisystemtreiber ist fast fertig. Noch nicht "production ready", z.B. gibt es im aktuellen Treiber mount Probleme vor allem nach updates da der Treiber fehlerhafterweise mehrfach registriert wird. Jorgen Lundman, der Hauptentwickler ist aber extrem fleißig um die letzten Probleme zu beseitigen. OpenZFS on Windows 2.3.1 rc2 ist verfügbar

Er behebt einen bisher unentdeckten Bug bei Driver Reload/Unload bei Updates.
Wenn der Installer beim Update crashed, neu installieren. Künftig wird dann kein Neustart benötigt.

Ein kleiner bug bei zpool status (id mismatch) ist bekannt.

Ist das aktuell normal unter Windows 11 ? glaube dass das keine Einschränkungen hat ind er Nutzuung aber sieht halt immer strange aus

Pool wurde neu erstellt mit rc2 auf einer leeren SSD bleibt auch nach export / import

In Windows 24H2 there seems to be some sort of partition background monitoring active that does an undo of "unknown" partition modifications. A current workaround is to use Active@disk editor (free) to modify sector 200.00 from value 45 to 15

Immer noch ein release candidate/beta aber schon sehr gut mit meist unkritischen Issues.
Einfach testen und Issues melden. Die Entwicklung schreitet sehr schnell voran mit Behebungen letzter Fehler in sehr kurzer Zeit.

• Add Registry sample to enable crash dumps for zpool.exe and zfs.exe

• Rewrite getmntany()/getmntent() to be threadsafe (zpool crash)
• Mount fix, if reparsepoint existed it would fail to remove before mounting
• Reparsepoints failed to take into account the Alternate Stream name, creating random Zone.Identifiers

Also contains a Proof Of Concept zfs_tray.exe icon utility, to show how it could be implemented, and communicate with elevated service, and link with libzfs. Simple Import, Export, Status is there, although it does not fully import ). The hope is that someone would be tempted to keep working on it. It was written with ChatGPT using vibe coding, so clearly you don't even need to be a developer
