[Sammelthread] AMD AGESA - Übersicht aller BIOS-Versionen

SMU Bugfixes klingt schon mal gut. Könnte bitte jemand überprüfen, ob der PBO Bug gefixed ist? Einfach EDC im UEFI setzen, HWINFO64 aufmachen, den Computer für ein paar Minuten normal verwenden, und nachsehen, wie hoch die maximale VID und die maximale vCore gegangen sind.

Beim Setzen einer manuellen EDC, größer als der CPU-modellspezifische Standardwert (z.B 5800X, 5900X, 5950X ab 141 Ampere, 5600X und 5700X ab 89A), wird die max. vCore des Boost Algorithmus auf 1.425-1.45V begrenzt, was Leistung in Anwendungen (und Spielen), die nur wenige Kerne verwenden, kostet und den Takt senkt. Der Bug wurde in AGESA 1.2.0.4 eingeführt und besteht mindestens bis inklusive 1.2.0.7.

5800X3D hat von Haus aus eine Spannungsbegrenzung und eignet sich nicht als Testkandidat.

Ich verwende noch AGESA 1.2.0.3 und möchte es nicht selbst ausprobieren, weil ein Downgrade im Anschluss nicht mehr möglich ist, durch das neue UEFI Capsule Format, welches danach (ab AGESA 1.2.0.5) eingeführt wurde.

Gigabyte hat nun auch die finalen BIOS-Versionen mit AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.8 für das B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 und einige andere AM4-Boards veröffentlicht.

....für das B450 Tomahawk Max gibt es nun eine neue Finale UEFI Version

Frage: Sind bei den "ganzen neuen" Bios Revisionen nun überall wieder die Curve Optimizer implementiert?

Ich sehe gerade, dass bei Gigabyte für das B650e Aorus Master das F5c rausgenommen wurde.
In der Vergangenheit mit anderen Boards von Gigabyte ist mir sowas nur aufgefallen, wenn kurz darauf eine neue Version ausgerollt wurde.

Werde das heute mal beobachten, ob da was neues kommt.
