Gleich mal eine Frage hat schon jemand das interne BIOS tool zum Übertackten verwendet. und kann seine Erfahrungen damit hier teilen

Hallo,

ich habe das Board jetzt schon ca. 2 Monate in Betrieb und habe die letzte Zeit längere Wartezeiten beim anschalten des PC. (bis ASUS ... kommt)
Außerdem blieb der PC die Tage beim anschalten hängen, sprich die Lüfter drehten hoch aber der Bildschirm blieb schwarz.

Hatte jemand schon mal ähnliches ?


Ps.: Eimal ist keinmal ich weiß :-) Dennoch

Ich find es etwas kurios, dass es neben dem 8-Pin ATX-Steckplatz noch einen weiteren 4-Pin ATX-Steckplatz gibt. Müssen wirklich beide Steckplätze für den Betrieb angeschloßen sein bzw. wofür ist überhaupt der 4-Pin Steckplatz?

im Handbuch Seite 42:
ATX-Stromanschlüsse (24-poliger EATXPWR; 8-poliger EATX12V_1; 4-poliger
EZTX12V_2)
Diese Anschlüsse sind für die ATX-Stromversorgungsstecker.
Vergessen Sie NICHT, beide, den 4-poligen und 8-poligen EATX12 V-Stromstecker,
anzuschließen.

Da es hier reinpasst: Mein Asus X99-A II ist gestern ohne Vorwarnung abgeraucht. Leuchtete nur noch eine undokumentierte rote LED neben dem CPU (hier haben einige das Problem auch). Hab auch hier im Forum ein Problem-Thread, läuft wohl auf das Board hinaus.

Ich find es etwas kurios, dass es neben dem 8-Pin ATX-Steckplatz noch einen weiteren 4-Pin ATX-Steckplatz gibt. Müssen wirklich beide Steckplätze für den Betrieb angeschloßen sein bzw. wofür ist überhaupt der 4-Pin Steckplatz?

Wenn man 24 anschließt: Warnung LED leuchtet, kein booten
Wenn man 24+8 anschließt: Bootet problemlos.

Gibt einige hier im Forum die das Board problemlos und stabil mit nut dem 24- und 8-Pin Stecker betreiben. Laut Asus-Support ist das kein problem solang man das Board nicht im Grenzbereich (was auch immer das bedeutet, die Asus X99-A, E usw. die nur 24+8 haben, konnten auch zum übertakten auf 4.4 GHz genommen werden) betreibt.
