Selten so ein häßliches Design gesehen - die einzige Möglichkeit, wie das noch zu toppen wäre ist, es in weiß zu fertigen ...
Sieht ja wirklich total billig aus!

Überlange Grafikkarte stoßen ja total an die Lüfter.

Die HD4870 X2 sind schon überlang. Also Full ATX Karten mit 33cm Länge dürften da noch haarscharf passen.

nett finde ich den 2,5" Halter für die SSD... Und überhaupt das schlichte Design.

Zumal man auch einfach einen Lüfter ausbauen kann. Also Platzprobleme hat man in dem Gehäuse sicherlich nicht, solange man keine Wakü unterbringen möchte.
Sieht auch alle sehr komfortabel aus, da ist keine Komponente einer anderen im Weg und die Kabelführung ist auch vorbildlich.

Wieso verlegt man die Kabel bei einem Ausstellungsstück auf der Messe nicht ordentlich? Damit schneidet man sich doch nur eins eigene fleisch...

Das Ding ist ja mal absolut hässlich. Wenn ich keine Wakü hätte stände hier auch ein FT01, das Case sieht meiner Meinung nach verdammt gut aus.
Aber die neue Version geht ja mal gar nicht.

Mal überraschen lassen ob sie es auch schaffen werden das TJ07 zu verunstalten fals da mal ne neue Version kommt

Anschlüsse alle oben? Naja gut, dass da noch ein Gitter drüber ist. Sonst hätte man da ein tollen Kabelsalat (den man an dem Ausgang dann sowieo hat).

Ansonsten...
1. Den Staubsauger kann ich mir dann ja sparen. Möchte nicht wissen, wie oft man diese Staubfilter dann reinigen sollte.
2. Das ganze bitte in schwarz - auch innen - und noch ein eSATA Anschluss oben und es wäre eine Überlegung wert.

Also hier gibt es noch ein paar nette Infos von einem Silverstone-Mitarbeiter zum Gehäuse (welches ich persönlich sehr schick finde und welches wohl bei meinem nächsten PC als Umgebung für die Hardware dienen wird):

• Gehäuse erscheint im September (oder später)
• Alle 180er Lüfterpositionen haben auch Bohrungen für 120er Lüfter
• Fotos... etc.

Also wer sich ein Silverstone Fortress zulegen möchte sollte wohl besser zugreifen solange es das Alte noch gibt.

"No, we will continue selling both FT01 and RV01 after the new cases debut. There are still some very important differences between these cases:

RV01 - 114 liters size, supports Extended ATX motherboard, six 3.5" hard drives
RV02 - 69 liters size, supports standard ATX motherboard, three 3.5" hard drives

FT01 - 51 liters size, all aluminum, supports seven 3.5" hard drives
FT02 - 65 liters size, aluminum unibody frame and steel body, supports five 3.5" hard drives"

Ich finde es nirgends zum Kaufen. Und gibt es auch ein Sichtfenster oder ist der komplett zu? Das raven 2 hat rechts das Sichtfenster und das raven 1 links. Komisch denn man sollte zwei versionen anbieten für beide Seiten. Ich brauche ZB den PC rechts

Also habe hier ein paar Infos von Mitarbeitern und die sagen folgendes:

To answer some of your questions regarding room for graphics cards in the RV02 and FT02. It was designed to fit cards as long as 12"

The reason we mentioned 10.5" in our literatures for many of our cases is that we were under the impression that neither GPU company will go over that length for consumer graphics cards. Apparently ATI has decided to break that unofficial rule, which is unfortunate, the actual PCB of 5870 is likely still only 10.5". The non-functional air vents with the plastic cover is responsible for making the card longer.

We are still waiting for confirmation from ATI regarding the length of 5870x2. Even if it is indeed 12" and touching the fan grille, you shouldn't need to worry about the airflow getting divided as the 180mm fan is bigger than the cards (plus there are three of them inside case).

I will give everyone update here as soon as I heard back from them!

Hi Jeff, I am sorry to disappoint you, but the FT02 is delayed for November release.

The initial information we have is that the 5870X2 will be 12.1" so RV02 and FT02's honeycomb grille will need to be removed to accommodate it.

If you are getting the single GPU 5870 card, then there is nothing to worry about, it'll fit in our cases perfectly.

Und noch zu guter Letzt die Unterschiede zum Raven 2:

The RAVEN RV02 also has the hard drives mounted vertically so they don't block air flow for the bottom fan.

We have decided to give FT02 the adjustable fans as well so the difference between it will only be down to:

Aluminum unibody vs. plastic outer shell
7 vs. 8 expansion slots
5 vs. 3 hard drive bays
Foam padding on panels for FT02
