Glasfaser Eigenes Modem an FTTH-Anschluss via SFP GPON Modul

Ich versteh nicht mal den Unterschied der drei Produkte. Noch dazu sollte gesagt werden das Ubiquit sich hauptsächlich lohnt wenn man sich selbst dem vendor-lockin hingibt.

Gibt es eigentlich schon XGS-PON Module? Ich hatte mich vor kurzem bei der Telekom für den 2G Tarif vormerken lassen, wo dann ja der SFP im OLT getauscht werden muss.. Aktuell nutze ich eine Fritz!Box 5530 für die es ja auch ein XGS-PON Modul gibt, jedoch frage ich mich was die Alternativen wären..

Habe ich was verpasst, man kann sich irgendwo für den 2G Tarif vormerken lassen?

Für den unwahrscheinlichen Fall, das im Zuge des XGS Ausbaus in der Nachbarschaft auch irgendwann mal ein XGS Modul in dem für meinen Anschluss zuständigen OLT landet und ich keine Fritzbox vor meinen Router packen möchte (eine FB5530 bekommt man nicht zufällig in einen "ONT/Bridge Modus" konfiguriert?) mich mal nach möglichen Alternativen umgesehen.

Mangels Erfahrungsberichten aus der Praxis zum 2G Tarif/XGS PON bei der Telekom, aber ohne Hinweise ob sich davon was im Telekomnetz einrichten lassen würde. Meistens findet man nicht mal einen Händler dazu welcher an Privatkunden verkauft.

Das Ubiquiti Fiber XGS wäre aber zumindest das einzige was für Privatkunden leicht zu beziehen scheint, auch wenns wohl als erstes aus der Liste fliegen würede.

Die größten Unterschiede sind der integrierte Wifi 7 Access Point beim Dream Router und dem Express. Andererseits kann der Express nur die Network App. Dream Router und Gateway Fiber können zusätzlich noch die weiteren Apps wie Protect, Access, Talk und Connect.

Es wird unterstützt aber nicht in Kombination mit PPPoE, da gibt es aktuell nur entweder oder.

Bis vor kurzem konnten die Unifi Router keine PPPoE Hardwarebeschleunigung, das war bitter. Man konnte höchstens 600-700 Mbit erreichen. Wurde zum Glück implementiert.

Wäre ja egal, weil nur ONT. Aber wie geschrieben sollen die halt nur mit Ubiquiti-OLT kompatibel sein...

Laut telekom Technik Video soll man sich einfach in seinem lokalen Telekom Shop melden können.. Ich hab die Glasfaser Hotline angerufen und es wurde soweit für mich vermerkt..

Wüsste ja gerne wieviele Kunden dann an diesem SFP im OLT hängen bzw. wie groß das Gebiet ist hier in Hamburg..

Vielleicht nehme ich das Thema nochmal wieder in Angriff, bzw. lasse mich versuchen vorzumerken. War dazu letztes Jahr auch schon mal mit dem Telekomhilft Team in Kontakt. Aber auch die konnten nicht rauszubekommen ob im Zuge des hier stattfinden FTTH Neuausbaus (XGS-PON Pilotgebiet), ich mit meiner schon bestehenden mini "GPON Insel" eine Chance bestünde per SFP Tausch auf den 2G Tarif. Aktuell scheint der Ausbau aber eh auch irgendwie zu stocken.

they can't make it work with sfp zyxel pmg3000 get it new from telekom.de connected directed in fritzbox 5590 fiber , and did try with sfp aon fritzbox sfp module and with this one they make it work

now it is a way to use this sfp in other device? because in cisco swich didn t initialize

The AVM-SFP is only a stupid Modem between Optical and Electrical. The real Software for this is part of FritzOS on the FritzBox. For Cisco or other Devices the Zyxel-SFP should work.

I don't think the Fritzbox will work with any other SFPs but the Fritzbox ones.

Showing some photos/screenshots of the current configuration would go a long way in figuring out what the situation actually is.

problem its this sfp it s not initialize in cisco sg 300 swich , or in sophos 125 rev3 . those 2 are very compatible with most of the sfp .
in sophos i did put opnsense and work great , i have many sophos models with opnsense on it , and i have no problem in any of them.

That is not suprising. The SFP in FritzBox only works with AVM-SFP.

Ok, that sounds exactly as the usual.

problem its this sfp it s not initialize in cisco sg 300 swich , or in sophos 125 rev3 . those 2 are very compatible with most of the sfp .

As already mentioned the AVM-SFP online works in FritzBox.

So if the AVM-SFP works you have to call Telekom and say you want to change your ONT/Glasfasermodem. You will need the Modem-ID of the Zyxel-SFP.

I have viewed some ebay-offers. It should be named on the Zyxel-SFP itself as "GPON SN" or on the package as "Modem-ID".
