Glasfaser Eigenes Modem an FTTH-Anschluss via SFP GPON Modul

but telekom told him, he will get no other data for connection, only that 7 digit code for activating the service on telekom website
anyway if he will get it i will set it up with pppoe
will be the same settings like mine , the only diffrence it s vlan tag 7 , mine it s 201

i saw here sfp it s already configured ftom telekom (registered),
I can´t see this in this Thread. And if so, it would be very untypically.

wan will be set it up with dhcp ?
No, PPPoE. You don´t need specific Username/Password there, anything will work.

it s possible also after he will register the service there on telekom web page, to get pppoe username and password from there
the tehnician will tell him for sure

i am sorry
did i understand well ?
pppoe whithout username and password ?
from my experience , when you chuse on wan interface pppoe connection and if you din not insert any username and password , you can t save configuration
i know pppoe connection its with username and password

hi again , it is possible also to use dect phone whithout fritzbox ?
sfp direct on opnsense firewall + cisco sg300-10pp + cisco ap 2802
thank s a lot

hi again
sfp its initialized by the thenical telecom guy

with random username and passwork didn't work

I found this:

https://www.hackenberger.at/blog/2023/06/21/how-to-telekom-glasfarben-pppoe-modem/

On the pppoe username they told us we must put some specified characters :

The username is of the format:

Connection IDAccess number#Mitnutzernummer@telekom.de.

pppoe username 002234098466551239265619#0001@t-online.de password REPLACEME

REPLACEME is the personal password that belongs to the access number .

You only need the ConnectionID (Zugangsnummer)#Mitbenutzernummer@t-online.de / Password if you:
a) Deactivated "Easy-Login" in your Kundencenter (customer support center thing)
or
b) Trying to get a business fiber connection to work, where you activated "Feste IP-Adresse" (defined IP address for your connection to the internet, for example when you try to use a VPN from the internet to your router) in your Kundencenter.
In all other cases (normal Magenta Zu Hause Fiber contract) the username/password ist not necessary.

i did try with all the data he did get it from telekom and doesn't work
i did make vlan tag 7 on pppoe , username and password it s correct 100%
i did put in username # caracter and whithout it and the same , no chance
some of the people did told me on other forums, work with # or whithout it
now , my friend did call on telekom customer service and did disable easy connect
they told him , will be disabled in an hour
we will see
with easy connect disable , i understand will work with any username and password

No, the opposite. EasyLogin = Login with random Username / Password. Works on my Telekom-FTTH well.

Did the technician the registration via link from SMS/email with serial number of the GPON modul and ID from the fiberbox? Usually this is the customers part.

Maybe the modul is not correctly registrated. Can you see a state of registration?

it's possible i did something wrong
i did insert sfp zyxel on the cisco sg 300 swich because in the sophos sfp didn t initialise
i did set it up that port to vlan7, with one more lan port of the swich on the same vlan for wan connexion of the sophos
but I did set them up untagged ports
i think i did have to change them to tagged or trunk and accept tagged / untagged only
the rest of the switch ports its used for lan connection

Yes, it has to be tagged with VLAN 7 on the SFP, so either you go tagged all the way to the Sophos or you create another port based vlan to feed untagged to the Sophos WAN port.

So either SFP - Switch - VLAN 7 tagged - Internet VLAN Port based - Sophos Internet service config without VLAN

or

SFP - Switch Port VLAN 7 tagged - Sophos VLAN 7 tagged - Sophos Internet service config with VLAN 7

Get easy login activated again so you can put in arbitrary credentials, would be sad to be failing because of a typo.
