HI!
We are glad to announce a new Heroic version. This one includes a lot of fixes, improvements and new features.
It goes from adding support for Whisky GPTK on macOS, to UI improvements to the filters, auto installing of the Epic Overlay, automatic installation of fixes with Winetricks (enable this in Settings > Advanced > Experimental Features) and redistributables (for Epic games) which will increase the compatibility with several windows games on Linux and macOS.
Fixes and issues on macOS when using Crossover with GOG and Amazon games, also add several improvements to the navigation when using the joystick.
It is now possible to see the game release date and genres on the Game Page.

Damit sollten etliche Spiele von Haus aus besser funktionieren ohne das händisch Komponenten nachinstalliert werden müssen.

Lange hat es gedauert aber verbesserte Unterstützung für Sprachen & DLCs sowie die Standard mäßige Installation von Abhängigkeiten dürfte die Zahl der Support-Anfragen deutlich senken

Als am wichtigsten würde ich sagen sind die neuen Versionen von Legendary (EpicGames), Nile (Amazon Games) und GoGDL (GoG) um zahlreiche Probleme beim Installieren von Spielen zu lösen und für Leute die gerne einen TrackingBlocker verwenden ist der GoG Store innerhalb von Heroic wieder nutzbar, dann halt ohne Affiliate Spenden

Demnächst wird auch der frisch veröffentlichte Nachbau des Galaxy SDKs für GoG Multiplayer Funktionen, Erfolge, Ranglisten und Co ,genannt Comet unterstützt.

Fehlerbehebungen wie üblich. Comet als Nachbau des Galaxy SDKs für Erfolge und Multiplayer ist frisch mit an Bord und für die Zukunft wechselt man auf UMU um eine zentrale Anlaufstelle für Korrekturen und Patches an der Übersetzungsschicht zu haben und Proton zu benutzen wie es auch Steam tut.
