* STALKER – Call of Pripyat no longer hangs randomly when launching a new game or opening a previously saved game.
* Scaling options are now correctly displayed when connecting a Digital monitor to the Display port on some video cards.
* The following games no longer experience random hangs during game loading :
o Call of Duty – Black Ops
o F1 2010
o Dungeon Siege 3
* The following games no longer hang intermittently during gameplay:
o Battlefield - Bad Company 2

* The following games no longer hangs while running the benchmark :

* Video corruption is no longer observed while playing full screen HD WMV format files using PowerDVD with Windows Aero Mode turned off.
* Blank video playback is no longer observed when hardware accelerations is enabled in VLC 1.1.10
* Dawn of War II – Retribution no longer exhibits a black screen when alt-tabbing in and out of the game
* Random display corruption is no longer observed when playing WMV format files using Windows Media Player

This section provides information on resolved known issues in this release of the AMD Catalyst™ 11.9 software suite for Windows XP. These include:
* Enemy Territory – Quake Wars no longer displays random screen corruption
* Cyberlink PowerDVD no longer hangs when attempting to play a BluRay disc.

Danke dir.Hatte grade ne vehemente Diskussion mit nem Kollegen der doch immer wieder behauptet die whql final treiber wären neuer (zertifikatsüberprüfung ms) als die previews ^^

Definitiv nicht, das die whqls erst von MS zertifiziert werden müssen und das dauert paar Tage...
Also ich hab jetzt auch mal den neuen 10.10 pre getestet, da ich auch BF3 Beta spiele.
Der Treiber brachte einige Verbesserungen bei den fps im Spiel. Kein Flackern etc.

Also mit meiner 6970pcs+ läufts auf der metro map im park nie unter 60 fps und drinnen 80fps+.
Die Grafik ist ja noch nicht final laut gamestar technickcheck.Kommen bestimmt im 11.11 preview noch mehr Verbesserungen ^^

Man kann das aber nicht wirklich pauschal sagen... Manchmal sind die Previews aktueller als der folgende WHQL, manchmal nicht. Der kommende 11.10 WHQL wird sowohl die RAGE als auch die BF3 Fixes enthalten. Wird gegen Ende Oktober kommen.

CatalystCreator: BattleField 3 - there will a CAP update later this week to resolve CrossFire issues - use in combination with the either V2 or V3 driver

CatalystCreator: Cat 11.10 official release will happen Oct 31 - but Catalyst 11.10 V3 is pretty much the identical driver, so use with BF3 (plus new CAP)
