Sammelthread Big Navi RX 6700XT/6800(XT)/6900XT Overclocking/Undervolting

Yes, ME:EE should be fine.
Speaking of, I always get weird tessellation issues that look indicative of faulty vram where the textures stretch indefinitely in Metro Exodus EE, and only when tessellation is enabled, it doesn't happen in any other game. Any idea what could be the cause of that?

try less tesselation in Adrenalin 8x ... 6x is 24/7 enough
(only valide 3dMark needs "AMD optimized")
and
the other thing is texture filtering quality: ... try performance+surface format optimization
may be, helps the vram a little bit

second test with less volts works also, nice surprise, THANKS

I'm surprised it allows your card to jump from 2056 FT1 all the way to 2140+ FT2 and provides me with a free 100 3DMark points. Weird ass MPT trick :D

I use DPM3=1070 together with Vram 2146...2148(adrenalin).

OK, last little change VDDCI =681 works also.
check in HWinfo the real vram volts, at me a little bit higher, then set@mpt
may be a aging tolerance

From what I recall upon first discovering the FT2 trick, the vram speed and voltage have a sweet spot (more finicky than usual), and if they aren't complementary, performance can drop by a significant amount.

For example, when doing 2150 FT2 at 675/1250mv, I had worse or the same performance as the default; if I wanted to use less than 1300mv, I would have to raise VDDCI above 875mv, or something along those lines. I forget the actual values.

try DPM3=1072 with Vram2150 FT2, ... works with my low temps

not every run has the same score
the tiny difference is OK for me

lower vramtemps are 24/7 more important

works, if the Vram is cool enough, ... VDDCI = 693mV should be enough
today I tested 687mV, mostly 2150MHz is fine, only some Benchmarks spikes a liitle bit, then 2148MHz
I'm not even sure if 2140 FT2 is stable on my card yet; I don't know if I'm getting an occasional artifact in ME or if it's just a texture glitch.

Ha,
with a glitch the scores go 200points higher if really the failure correction is off and some things
then are not full displayed/less polygons? for the shader.

Thats actuell a discussion in NOMAD-scores.

@GerryB I'm trying to get maximum performance 24/7 for gaming, not a max 3DMark score, though.

FH5 doesn't really show errors. I was playing for a while a few months ago with an unstable setup, and no errors showed up.

try custom ingame settings with less shadows, less RT
also FSR2/3 if available
also FG/AFMF

There is no need, to push permanent above 300W.
With Fps-Limit it should be avg.<270W and cooler.

On my 4k-monitor I can also use 1800p, thats enough.

Are you able to use FT2 24/7 for gaming? Unfortunately, it's not stable on my system; it may require quite a bit more voltage for stability, but I don't think that's worth it.

not yet so much tested, but seems to work
may be 2150-->2148 if not stable
