Sammelthread Big Navi RX 6700XT/6800(XT)/6900XT Overclocking/Undervolting

This 1050mV profile is slightly more stable than the previous 1056mv with the curve optimization, but it still crashes; this time in, like, 2-3 hours of gameplay rather than 1 hour. Don't know what could be causing that.
this not really a big problem, make a short break after 1-2 hours, and let cool down your 100°C- PC
may be, your RAM is also too hot

Could this help stabilize my 1050mv profile? ... Probably not
wrong test =1062mV@2583MHz
and
with 2578MHz?
and
What is with 1056mV@2573 or 2568MHz?

It takes some more tests, to find a stable 24/7 combination.

You responded just as I had finished a run testing that :D

41 more points than the last 1056mv TimeSpy score. Although I think I am very slightly power-limited, the clock speed nearing the end of the test drops down to 2490. I will try to see if it's more stable in games later at night.

I usually take a cigarette break every 2 hours anyway, but after one crash, it started crashing within 20 minutes. That was when I was going to be done gaming regardless, so I'm not sure why that happened.

Have Fun!
and please, make little breaks after 1-2 hours, to cool down

only@benchmarking you can try MCT = GPU-Power 105%
if there is too much powerlimitation

would be interesting, how it scales

I think the curve settings aren't worth the headache; each one of them crashes in game, but at seemingly random intervals, I can't point to anything being the cause. It'll be fine for a while, then crash and be fine again, or just crash over and over and be fine again. I think I'll just stick to the three profiles I have locked down at 1050mv, 1100mv, and 1125mv and switch between them on a per-game basis, depending on how power-hungry the title is.

may be, sometimes the error is at LD2
back to default 1,500000 GHz or less, for example 1,475000 GHz
(in Games then you can try MCT= minClock 1473MHz, may be, more stable then default 500MHz)

Never mind, it was just Forza 8 still being broken a year after release. Now I don't know which profile from all the different curve settings I should use. Do you think the last one is the best so far, or is the LD4 voltage a bit too high? Should it be somewhere between .980 and .103125, or is it better that way with the LD3 being pushed up 10 MHz?

the #6.685 with safe LD2 1,475000 GHz
1056mV should be a little bit safer then 1050mV

70% Videoschnitt/ 30% Zocken 😉

Are with very nice cards. You can optimize both very well. You can't compare it directly, because you can only roughly set the 7800xt with the driver and the 6950xt you can just be much finer on efficiency thanks to the MPT and additionally in the driver. I'm glad I have my 6950xt. It is still tick better processed and has a little more steam under the hood 💪
If I bought a card now up to 600€ (paid 599€ for mine back then) then I would definitely buy a 7900GRE
