Is your Graphics card nvidia? If so in the launcher turn off physx completely then try running the game. It works for me I miss the effects but at least I can patch the game and more importantly save the game

Salve! Läuft denn F1 2011 unter Win 8 bei Dir? Wenn ja, erzähl mal wie Du es geschafft hast!
