@tough.stalker Schau mal mit USB Device Tree Viewer nach ob die Platte überhaupt mit USB 3.0 angebunden ist. Scheitert es daran, ist die Datenrate normal.

Ich hatte mit einer USB 3.0 unter Win7 auch Probleme. Die flog einfach raus. An USB 2.0 lief sie ohne Probleme. Nach Upgrade auf Win10 wurde es besser, aber erst seit irgendeinem Patch läuft sie stabil ohne Aussetzer auch an USB 3.0.

ich habe schon versucht USB Treiber von der Asus Seite die zu meinem Mainboard gehören zu installieren, aber es ändert nichts

Wozu WLAN? ich habe glaube ich kein Wlan auf diesem PC und bin eh über Lan angeschlossen.

Ich habe diese Windows Version seit bestimmt 10 Jahren, aber irgendwann meine Hardware geändert ( eigentlich den ganzen PC nach und nach geändert ) jetzt sagt er der immer es ist nicht echt, habe das Windows damals bei Ebay gekauft, aber mit CD und Original Key Aufkleber drauf.
sehe da ist nur Service Pack 1 Drauf, evtl kommen die Probleme daher?

Nein, für Windows 7 gibts kein höheres Service Pack als das 1er. Nichts desto trotz solltest du aus Gründen der IT-Sicherheit (keine Updates) zu einem anderen Betriebssystem wechseln (in der Windowswelt wären das Windows 8.1 und Windows 10).

@Mordenkainen Mach' einen vollständigen Oberflächentest. Wenn die Platte da keine Fehler liefert und die Prozedur übersteht, würde ich sie weiternutzen.

Jepp, die Platte hat 1-2 auffällige Sektoren, das ist noch nicht viel und die Platten haben dafür auch eine Reserve. Ich würds nur weiter unter Beobachtung halten ob sich das irgendwann rapide verschlechtert, dann ist spätestens ein Austausch angesagt. (Ein Backup seiner Daten sollte man ja eh immer haben)

ich hab meinen alten Laptop ausgepackt, dachte ich kann evtl. noch etwas zocken, er will aber nicht mehr so richtig.

Spiele nur alte Spiele (zb Warcraft 3), für die der Laptop eigentlich ausreichen sollte. Werde mir wohl demnächst einen Gaming-PC kaufen aber bis dahin wäre es schön, wenn ich das Teil hier nochmal halbwegs zum laufen bekomme.

Liegt es vllt an der Festplatte? Oder ist es das Gesamtpaket aus zu wenig Arbeitsspeicher, CPU, Graka, die dafür sorgt, dass das Ding mittlerweile ziemlich unbrauchbar ist? Lohnt es sich eine neue SSD für den Laptop zu kaufen oder gar keinen Cent mehr reinstecken und auf den PC sparen?

Früher lief es soweit ich mich erinnere auf mittleren Details flüssig, nun läuft es auf niedrigsten fast gar nicht.

Dazu kommt, dass es halt schon ein paar Sekunden dauert, bis sich ein Ordner öffnet. Die Auslastung der Festplatte lag immer bei 100%. Nach 2 -Mal Defragmentieren ist es besser geworden. Normale Auslastung unter Desktop-betrieb (Das Defragmentieren hat beim 1. Mal 12 Std gedauert!?).

Das kann 2 Gründe haben, mitunter kombiniert:
Die Festplatte hat Probleme
Etwas verursacht kontinuierlich eine hohe Last auf der Festplatte, bspw. ein Kryptotrojaner, der Windows-Suchindex, ein Virenscanner etc.
