[Enemy Territory: Quake Wars] Sammel-Thread: Technische Probleme

AW: Quake Wars Demo Problem....

hab genau das gleiche "problem".
Mein sys ist zwar ein bissl schwächer (E6600, 3gig ram und X1900XT), aber bei mir werden es auch nicht mehr als 30fps.
Versuch mal über die Konsole das zu ändern..hat bei mir zwar auch nicht geklappt, aber vielleicht hab ich nur was falsch gemacht.

strg+alt+^ öffnet konsole:

dann

seta com_unlock_timemethod "0" müsste eigentlich die brenzung aufheben
seta com_showfps "1

usw.

ps. ich seh gerade du hast auch 3gig ram..hast du xp/vista 64 bit? weil ich hab xp 32bit und bekomm nur 2,93gig angezeigt in windows

Ich kenn zwar ET:QW nicht, allerdings ist bei bei id-engines meist möglich mit

com_maxfps xx
in der Console diese zu ändern. Wenn das nicht gehen sollte, könnte das auch in der demo limitiert sein, das wurde bei q4 auch erst vor 2 patchen ermöglicht, auf werte über 90(60) zu ändern.

Also ich bin irgendwie unzufrieden mit der Demo Performance.
Ich spiel mit 1280x1024 2AA und 4AF und habe im schnitt 50fps, was mich nur wundert das die FPS nich steigen selbst wenn ich vor die Wand gucke oder in irgendwelchen Räumen bin. Ich komme nie über 60FPS :(

Nun mal ne Frage brauch man für das Spiel nen Extra Beta Treiber oder is die schlechte performance normal und ich sollte trotz meiner meinung nach guten PCs Grafikeinbußen in kauf nehmen weil ich finde 50 fps und teils 40+ nich unbedingt gut spielbar fürn Shooter...

toll... ich hab nen e6750, 2GB ram, vista 64, 8800GTX und ich habs einmal spielen gekonnt jetzt gehts gar net mehr und stürzt jedes mal mit nem mem_alloc fehler ab -.- und windows sagt ich hab net genug arbeitsspeicher... also ich fang langsam an zu zweifeln dass 64 bit unterstützt wird...

weiß jmd mehr? ihc hoff ich find was

bei mir will das game net starten. nach klick auf die exe kommt schwarzer bildschirm mit mauszeiger und nach ein paar sekunden kommt ein konsolenfenster mit error. muss man nen account haben oder warum geht das net bei mir?

muss man das spiel vorher konfigurieren?

hab noch mal gestartet und es scheint ein fehler mit der grafik zu geben. der akzeptiert die graka-treiber kombi nicht. ist mein treiber ungeeignet (162.18)?

hab jetzt sogar den forceware 163.67 installiert aber gleicher fehler!
was kann ich tun?

ansonsten find ich das Spiel bis jetzt noch fürchterlich unübersichtlich, das geht von der Tastenbelegung bis zu den Missionszielen.

Mit BF2142 kann mans jedenfalls nichtmal annähernd vergleichen isn komplett andres Spielgefühl.

Da ist nichts,ich installiere es mal neu.

Jetzt geht es,mußte die Windows Firewall anmachen,sowas blödes.

Es läuft noch ganz gut bei mir alles auf Hoch.
Aber es sieht ja nicht so gut aus,es geht hatte mir mehr drunter vorgestellt.

beim start kommt nur eine fehlermeldung bei mir. der akzeptiert die graka-treiber kombi nicht.
ich habe übrigens eine GeForce 8800GTX! also kommt mir nicht mit ati hotfix und catalyst.

habe den forceware 162.18 und auch den neuen betatreiber 163.67 probiert. kein erfolg

auf dem angehängten bild seht ihr die fehlermeldung.

öffne das nvidia controlpanel dann zu "manage 3D settings" und "Erweiterungsbeschränkung / Extensions Limit" auf Off stellen - dann gehts :)


edit:
du kannst es auch unter den "programm settings" nur für Quake Wars abschalten - wüsste aber keinen nachteil wenn mans global auf off hat
