‘Long run’ meant, ‘when’ you have new requirements for your switch and/or your current switch is totally broken. In other words: When you have to buy a new one, then … I would not replace this switch because of this display glitch.
This LLDP issue is a rather new issue for me and the community. I am not aware of a confirmed working 16 port desktop Gigabit switch. As @ridde recommended, one approach would be a configurable switch, which allows to disable LLDP. However, if you want a non-configurable switch and you want one of those flat switches, you do not have that much options at all:
