Dear NVIDIA GeForce Customer,
We have created a test NVIDIA GeForce BETA display driver with a fix to address desktop browsing stability issues affecting some GeForce 460/560 customers. As you have previously submitted our desktop browser/application stability feedback form, we ask if you would be willing to test this driver on your system and then give us feedback based on your results. This driver is only for desktop GeForce graphics cards and is based on our previous R331.58 display driver release. If you wish to try out this driver, you may download it from the URL below based on your operating system:
Windows 7/Windows 8 64-bit GeForce Desktop GPUs
http://geforceforums.s3.amazonaws.com/64-bit.zip
Windows 7/Windows 8 32-bit GeForce Desktop GPUs
http://geforceforums.s3.amazonaws.com/32-bit.zip
When installing, please make sure you perform a clean install. Once you have had a chance to try it out, please let us know if you notice any changes. This may include:
1) Does your stability issue go away after using this driver?
2) If issue persists, is the driver less stable/more stable? Does the amount of time that it takes for the freeze/crash to occur change after using this driver?
3) If your stability issues persists, please email us newer Windows dmp log files created using this driver.
If you have any feedback, simply reply to this email. Thank you once again for all of your assistance.
Regards,
Manuel Guzman
