This mod will disable the wrong way penalties for single player (offline). Works for "Race", "Time Attack" and "Solo Drift" modes.
The intent of this mod is to have a little fun drivng the tracks in the opposite direction. In a sense, you get double the tracks to drive. Also, if you want to test the AI skills at playing chicken when you're charging at them head-on. The AI will always drive the proper direction on the track. (I'm sure most will prefer to run solo races going the wrong way)
Each 2 laps driven the wrong way counts a 1 lap driven (not my doing, just how it works by default). So, if you set a 3 lap race, you'll need to drive 6 laps in the wrong direction to finish the race. The lap time is the time that it took to drive 2 full laps. Points/money are awarded for non-drift races, when you finish the race.
I normally start the race, then cross the start/finish line, then turn around and race the other direction.
"Time Attack" was included per request of a member.
I'm reviewing the possibility of activating points for drift mode, but it may make career drift events too easy or cause over-inflated scores on Autolog. (Update) After testing the activation of drift pts going the wrong way, I cannot add the option as it will create an issue with inflated Autolog scoring.
***Cut track penalties are still active for single player (offline).***
***All penalties for Multiplayer are still active.***
