Mit ASUS-Update neues Bios mit Älterem überspielen:
Falls Ihr mal ein altes Bios mit ASUS-Update über ein neues Bios flashen wollt müsst Ihr nur im ASUS-Update unter Optionen bei Bios Downgradable einen Haken setzen und Ihr könnt diese dann aufspielen!
BIOS flashen Unter DOS mit AFUDOS (AMI-BIOS):
Man erstellt eine DOS Start-Diskette (im Explorer rechter Mausklick auf das Diskettensymbol, dann Formatieren auswählen und das Häkchen bei "DOS Startdiskette erstellen" setzen) und kopiert das BIOS File und die AFUDOS.exe auf die Diskette. Nun begibt man sich ins BIOS Setup und läd die "Setup defaults" (Die Diskette befindet sich im Laufwerk!) Änderungen speichern!Nun Startet der PC und läd automatisch das Setup Programm von Diskette.Der Befehl zum Flashen lautet: afudos /i"filename" Das war es. (written by Jensematz)

Eine DOS Maske erscheint, in dieser wird der Name des BIOS File eingegeben, z.B. "1009.bin". Mit Enter Bestätigen! Nach einigen Sekunden wird man gefragt ob das BIOS gespeichert werden soll (Press:Y/N) dies wird mit "N" für NEIN bestätigt, damit der Flashvorgang startet. Wird die Meldung angezeigt, dass das Update erfolgreich war, drückt man F1 um den Rechner neu zu starten. Das war es"(written by Jensematz)
