"The now resurrected Alps Mechanical switch is a new kid on the block with an old soul. An obvious revision is the clear plastic body which allows LED light brilliantly distribute light underneath a key-cap. LEDs are often implemented terribly for backlighting which seems to be addressed. Some aspects of design aren’t changed by the upgrade. The cream colored stem is reminiscent of classic Alps design, and the switch will take legacy key-caps. In contrast to the Cherry MX switches an Alps custom or novelty key-cap would be hard to come by, so a few may start to appear pending popular appeal for the revised switch."
Also wirklich neu ist das für mich nicht.
