Dear Palm Eurostore customer,
We regret to have to inform you that Palm Eurostore will NOT now be in a position to fulfill orders that have been received for the HP TouchPad 16Gb WiFi ( Part Number: FB405UA#ABB ) or the HP TouchPad 32Gb WiFi ( Part Number: FB368UA#ABB ).
You will probably be well aware of the very high level of interest and demand for these products in Europe in light of what had transpired in the US where significant price reductions had taken place. We know a lot of you may also have placed orders in the expectation that a similar price reduction would have been announced in Europe. In good faith, and after communication with HP, we at the Palm Eurostore allowed pre-orders to be taken for these products at the standard price. We fully intended and expected to be able to fulfill these orders and if a price reduction were to be announced then we would have applied that new price to the orders.
A decision, wholly outside of our control, has been made which meant that this expectation will not now be met. This decision means that we can no longer obtain any inventory of these products. Therefore, regretfully, we have no alternative but to cancel your order for these products and to process a full and complete refund of your money ( for those orders where the funds have already been deducted ). You will receive an email directly when the cancellation takes place – we expect to have all orders cancelled before close of business Fri 26th August. Please note that your bank or card issuing bank may take up to several days to show this refund on your account or statement.
We offer you our sincerest apologies for what has happened and can only ask for your understanding of our actions in a confusing and evolving situation. Again I wish to re-iterate that we acted in good faith and tried everything we could to try to secure inventory for these orders – but to no avail.
Should there be any new developments in relation to these products becoming available – and we have no information to suggest that will happen - we will contact you directly and try to ensure you are given priority or special consideration in some way to obtain these.

Scheint relativ frisch, habe ich auch gerade eben überraschend lesen müssen. Naja.. dann ist die Hetzjagd wohl vorbei, hat auch was gutes 
Ich war zwar nicht unter den Glücklichen, aber es gibt wirklich schlimmeres. Morgen früh kann man ja nochmal bei HP u. Amazon gucken, die Chancen gehen aber wohl gen 0.

Amazon wundert mich auch ein wenig, finde ich persönlich auch eher ungewöhnlich. Vielleicht waren sie von vorn herein so schlau und haben durch die Auflösung bzw geringes Interesse kaum welche geordert. Das HP noch welche hat bezweifle ich sehr, wenn dann wäre denke ich wirklich nur Amazon dazu in der Lage wobei ich das doch eher bezweifle, sie hätten wenn dann wohl eher von Anfang an mitgezogen. Aber ich lasse mich gerne eines besseren belehren ...

Ich habe am Dienstag direkt bei Amazon bestellt und laut Aussage eines Mitarbeiters soll die Bestellung Anfang September auch geliefert werden.
Dann bleibt wohl nur noch Cyberport. Zumindest besteht noch Hoffnung für die Erstbesteller vom Abverkaufstag.
Ich meine, wenn ländliche, kleine Expert-Läden teilweise bis zu 50 Stk. am Lager hatten, wird Cyberport bestimmt ein paar Einheiten mehr bekommen/bekommen haben. Morgen Vormittag rückt Cyberport mit Infos raus.

Soll heißen, nur für die Leute, die bisher auf der Warteliste stehen, wird es morgen zumindest bei Cyberport interessant. Der Rest muss auf HP oder Amazon hoffen.

Wenn ihr euch alle so ins Hemd macht, storniert die Bestellung doch einfach.
So was peinliches habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Erst wie die Geier auf diesen Shop stürzen und dann nach nicht mal 24h Panik bekommen und von Betrug reden und den Shop inkl. Betreiber in Verruf bringen.
Pakete wiegen? Wie wär es einfach damit, dass Paket anzunehmen und den Zusteller bitten, ob er 30 Sekunden Zeit hat, damit man es NACH der Annahme vor seinen Augen öffnen kann.
Oder man fragt nen Nachbarn oder nen Freund, ob der kurz Zeit hat.
Schon hat man nen Zeugen und alles ist gut.

Paketboten nicht aufmachen, bzw sagen man hätte kein Geld zu Hause
-> Paket wird 1-2 Wochen in der Post gelagert.
Paket erst abholen, wenn andere Erfahrungsberichte im Internet den Inhalt verifiziert haben.

Guten Morgen,
mal sehen, was uns heute alles erwartet .
Auf alle Fälle tut sich was bei cyberport. Deren Informationspolitik bei Facebook finde ich sehr gut! Dort habe ich kein TB mehr odern können, dafür ein Pre3 und somit hoffe ich noch ein wenig.
Evtl. können wir heute bei amazon hoffen, dass es noch was geben wird und natürlich schauen wir mal, was unser Freund XY von DM-Telecom so treibt...
Wünsche allen schon einmal einen schönen Tag.
